E3 2017 Interview â Werewolf: The Apocalypse
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 21st of June 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Werewolf At E3 I was able to sit down and gather more information on Werewolf: The Apocalypse from Julien Desourteaux. Here's what I was able to get on Werewolf: The Apocalypse. Not all games that I was excited to learn more about at E3 were up and running on the show floor and Werewolf: The Apocalypse was one of them. Any gamer and fan of the franchise would have been excited to see what Cyanide Studio had for the game since it was only announced earlier this year and nothing else had been brought up about it. While Focus Home Interactive was featuring Werewolf: The Apocalypse at E3, there wasn't anything in terms of gameplay and the like out there, but that didn't mean we came up completely dry. E3 2017 Impressions â Call Of Cthulhu
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 19th of June 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Call Of Cthulhu While at E3 I was able to see Call Of Cthulhu in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Call Of Cthulhu. There was a small list of titles at E3 that I desperately wanted to go hands on with at E3 and Call Of Cthulhu was one of those titles. I was so ever hopefully that Cyanide Studios would have had a nice little slice of the game out there to be played on the PS4, Xbox One, or PC but sadly it was not. That is not to say that Focus Home Interactive didn't put together a nice booth and experience for Call Of Cthulhu though and that in turn led to a lot of new information and details for the gameplay and scope of the game to finally get out there. I wish I could show you more gameplay than what we had for the public out at E3, but for now here's what we have for it all as well as more on the ins and outs of the game. Read More...

Review â Styx: Shards Of Darkness
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of March 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Styx We sit down and review Styx: Shards Of Darkness. The goblin is back and there is even more to steal & kill. Here's our review of Styx: Shards Of Darkness Styx is finally back and doing what he does best in Styx: Shards Of Darkness; stealing and killing. It's been a long wait since he was the Master Of Shadows and brought his fun to the screen but Cyanide Studios didn't want the little guy falling into the darkness of obscurity and brought us yet another experience through the eyes of the thieving goblin. Hopefully learning from any mistakes and adding in just enough new items to make the game feel the same but enough to warrant the extra funds that Focus Home Interactive doled out for the game. None the less, here's our review on Styx: Shards Of Darkness and just how the game did in our eyes. Read More...

Styx: Shards Of Darkness Now Lets You Kill With A Buddy Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 6th of March 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Styx It looks like Styx will be getting another buddy in Styx: Shards Of Darkness and this time it is one of your real-world friends The wait for Styx: Shards Of Darkness is finally over as the game finally comes to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on March 14th. That's not exactly why we are here though as not only is Cyanide Studios and Focus Home Interactive bringing the game to us but they are also bringing in the ability to play the game with a friend. Not the friend that we've seen already for Styx in terms of his clone but we are getting Co-Op game play in Shards Of Darkness. As if setting up all of our kills solo wasn't going to be fun enough but now we can do it with any of our friends who also enjoy slaying with this little goblin. Read More...

See How A Goblin Is Made Here For Styx: Shards Of Darkness
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 21st of February 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Styx A new developer diary for Styx: Shards Of Darkness shows off a bit more of the game as well as how Styx has been evolved since the last game and beyond If Styx: Shards Of Darkness will be your first foray with this little goblin then A, you are missing out, and B, you need a crash course in who this little goblin is and how he has been crafted for the game and how he has evolved since. It would be odd if Cyanide Studios left him in the past and didn't use all of the new hardware and game to further show off this amazing character and while they are odd, they are not that odd. This is why we have a new developer diary of sorts to show off Styx in his new light as well as to get to know his personality a bit more and just to enjoy another great IP that is coming out of Focus Home Interactive. Werewolf: The Apocalypse Is Getting The Video Game Treatment Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of January 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Werewolf It has just been announced that Werewolf: The Apocalypse will be getting its own video game version for us to pretend to be a Werewolf out to save the world It seems like it wasn't that long ago that we were talking about a World Of Darkness MMO coming and then being canceled but now it looks like the universe is being brought back in video game form as we now have Werewolf: The Apocalypse getting the same treatment here. Yes, it looks like Paradox Interactive, the people who own the rights to the IPs, have given way for Cyanide Studios and Focus Home Interactive to give bringing this part of the universe to life and hopefully success. Werewolf: The Apocalypse wouldn't be my own personal choice to come from the WoD here but at least it looks like they are still willing to give it a try and give gamers a taste of the table top games in the realm of the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Call Of Cthulhu Shows Us The Depths Of Madness We Will Go To
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of January 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Call Of Cthulhu A new trailer for Call Of Cthulhu has released and we get to see how far Pierce, Call Of Cthulhu's protagonist, will dive into madness Here we go with yet another interesting trailer for the upcoming Call Of Cthulhu game coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime this year. We've had a few good viewings of the game so far but here we get to see the level of madness that Cyanide Studios is crafting for us here in the game as well as a bit more of the story we will help unfold. Not only that, but as Call Of Cthulhu's character generally go insane no matter the medium you play it in, we also get to see what I am guessing is some of harsher stuff that the game's protagonist will go through as he investigates the weirdness going on in the game's world. Weirdness or madness, either one really works here for all of this. Read More...

Styx: Shards Of Darkness Is Almost Here To Teach The Art Of Stealth
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of January 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Styx A new cinematic trailer for Styx: Shards Of Darkness has released and it shows off a bit of Styx's stealth tactics and mayhem he can create in the process We are all still waiting for a solid release date for Styx: Shards Of Darkness as March is still the only part of the date still set out there but that doesn't mean that the videos and fun have to stop. Of course not and that is just what Cyanide Studios has brought us here yet again for the game with a new trailer aimed to highlight the thing we know Styx is good at; Stealth. I mean, his last title was named Master Of Shadows and with a name like that, not to mention how the game actually played, stealth was his strong suit and I know I was able to put it to some amazing use from start until the end. The Madness Of Call Of Cthulhu Is Starting To Sink Inâ¦
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of December 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Call Of Cthulhu New screenshots for Call Of Cthulhu have been released and they show a few more areas in the game as well as some Call Of Cthulhu locals who we will have to handle It looks like the Elder Gods are happy with where we have the world now as we have been graced with a few more screenshots for Call Of Cthulhu. That would be the video game version of the franchise for those who stumbled in here looking for the many other forms of it all that Cyanide Studios is using to craft the game. There really are quite a few out there and this version of Call Of Cthulhu looks to give us a taste of madness in the digital form as we try to figure out what is going on within the island of Darkwater. Styx Has A Few New Tricks In Styx: Shards Of Darkness To Show Off
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of December 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Styx Another gameplay trailer for Styx: Shards Of Darkness has been released and this one shows off a few more of the tricks Styx has picked up since the last game I know I can never seem to get enough Styx: Shards Of Darkness and it looks like we have even more to sate some of our needs until March of next year when we can play the full game. I just love this little guy that Cyanide Studios has created for us and he only seems to get better with each new video and showcasing we get to see. Especially when we get to see a lot of the new tricks of the trade that Styx is bringing with the next title. Read More...

Styx New screenshots for Styx: Shards Of Darkness have released and it looks like Styx may be taking to the skies of Korrangar in the upcoming sequel We all know that Styx: Shards Of Darkness will have us venturing into some dark caves and dungeons to murder our way to some sweet, sweet Amber out there. Now it looks like more of the world is opening up to us as we will be taking to the skies in Cyanide Studios' sequel to the small hit. At least that is what it looks like from the new screenshots we have here for Shards Of Darkness that show off Korrangar in the game and Styx being up to his usual tomfoolery. Read More...

Styx: Shards Of Darkness Has Been Delayed But We Have New Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 6th of October 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Styx Delays have hit Styx: Shards Of Darkness until next year but with it comes a new look at Styx and some of the upgrades that will be coming with this game It looks like my worries were true as it looks like Styx: Shards Of Darkness has been delayed until Q1 of 2017. I thought this might happen as we got closer to the original timeline that Cyanide Studios wanted to hit but as we had not heard much on the development of the game before now it was looking like a delay was inevitable. Not to tragic of news for a lot of gamers I know as Styx has been more of an underground kind of game already, pun intended, but as the team has been upgrading to the Unreal 4 engine for this game they and Focus Home Interactive though the delay was needed and I am going to side on this for sure. Now that the downer news is over here, let's move onto a bit of the new stuff for Styx: Shards Of Darkness. Read More...

E3 2016 Impressions â Styx: Shards Of Darkness
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 22nd of June 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
Styx While at E3 I was able to see Styx: Shards Of Darkness in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Styx: Shards Of Darkness One of the other smaller titles on the floor at E3 that I was excited for was Styx: Shards Of Darkness. This would be the sequel to one of the smaller cult classic titles that Cyanide Studios gave us back in 2014. It is a fun little stealth action title that builds off the story of Styx: Master Of Shadows and from the looks of things builds off the expanded power of the Unreal Engine that they just didn't have before. Thankfully we don't have much longer to wait as the game is still slated to launch later this year for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

Call Of Cthulhu Gets Its First Trailer To Drive Us Mad
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 10th of June 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Call Of Cthulhu The first trailer for Call Of Cthulhu has been released just before E3 and it gives us a taste of what Call Of Cthulhu will have for us at launch The wait is over now and we have our first trailer for Call Of Cthulhu to look upon. Sure we've had a few screenshot in the past from Cyanide Studios but they are just stills and we all want to see things in full motion. There is no denying that and now Focus Home Interactive has brought us a good look at Call Of Cthulhu just before E3 and well before its release in 2017 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Sadly though, in the usual manner, there isn't much to go on or any word that what we are about to see is true gameplay or just a nice cinematic for the game. Read More...

Styx Is On The Run In The Latest Shards Of Darkness Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 9th of June 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Styx The E3 trailer for Styx: Shards Of Darkness has been release and it shows off a lot of the fun that Styx will be having while killing Moving away from the larger E3 video game teases and announcements it looks like we have a new trailer for Styx: Shards Of Darkness to gaze upon. I know that this game will be shown off a bit more in detail by Cyanide Studios during the convention but as it will most likely be behind closed doors leading up to then, this is most likely all we will have for now. None the less we will have more on Styx: Shards Of Darkness here after the expo but this is what we have for now. Just rest assured that we'll have a whole lot before its release on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime this year. Read More...
