Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It was another short week here in the States but that does not mean that we did not have much to cover this week. There did happen to be quite a few video games that received some big updates and announcements out there. Some of them, like Avengers and The Sinking City, will be getting their PS5 and Xbox Series X updates soon. Other video games, like Stubbs The Zombie and Six Days In Fallujah, had full announcements that they were coming to us this year. Read More...

Review — Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Earthblood
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 4th of February 2021 - 06:00 PM ]
Werewolf We sit down and review Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Earthblood. The latest action game for the World Of Darkness setting. Here is our review of this Werewolf title The moon is now full in the World Of Darkness and the release of Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Earthblood is finally here for us all to explore. We have seen some of the other IPs get some interactive book style games out there, but Cyanide wants to dive into the ferocity of the creatures and give us an action-oriented game with some RPG features mixed in. If there ever was an IP to do that, it would be Werewolf: The Apocalypse. Read More...

Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Earthblood Is Bringing Three Forms Of Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 25th of January 2021 - 10:00 PM ]
Werewolf New footage for Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Earthblood shows off the three different forms our Werewolf will be able to play the world in While the tabletop version of Werewolf: The Apocalypse may offer up more forms, Earthblood has been very direct that we are only getting three of these form in the final version of the game. More or less, they are the fully shifted forms between Lupus, Homid, and Crinos that are traditionally seen for the beasts. I think it was also a great choice for Cyanide to make sure they can highlight each in the gameplay for Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Earthblood while making it not needed to be in one form all the time while ignoring the others. Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Earthblood’s Antagonists Are Truly Trashing The Planet
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 19th of January 2021 - 10:00 PM ]
Werewolf New promotional ads for Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Earthblood show off the antagonists and reasons why we will need to bring them down for the world In the world of Werewolf: The Apocalypse it is well-known that those out there trashing the planet and ruining Gaia are part of the true enemies. It is driven home rather well for those that have played the tabletop games but maybe not so much for those dipping their toes into the IP with what Cyanide is working on here. Even those that have been trying to keep up with all of the news and videos for Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Earthblood might not truly know. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 25th of December 2020 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Just as we thought, this week was going to be insanely slow for video games given all of the holidays going on. It is the way it is every year but that does not mean that we did not have things to share. Things like the open date for the first Super Nintendo World for next year and then the video games like Returnal and Praey For The Gods having a few new updates. It was a bit slower but there was still a whole lot to get excited for as we end this year and hope for the next to be better. Read More...

Werewolf The Switch will be seeing Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Heart Of The Forest launch on it in January for Werewolf fans to rejoice Hot on the heels of Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Heart Of The Forest, we have the announcement that the game will now be heading its way over to the Switch. This seems about the right call from Different Tales to bring it over there as we have seen many of the other World Of Darkness titles in the same design do the same thing. Now we just get to look for Werewolf to join in all of the undead and wizards there on January 7th. Yeah, not that far off to have this visual novel to enjoy on the device there if you missed out on the PC. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 12/14/20 — 12/18/20
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 19th of December 2020 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Things are starting to slow down and we can start to kick back and enjoy some of those video games we have out there. It is that time of year, and even though the awards of last week gave us some stuff to look at for The Callisto Protocol and a new Mass Effect, I have feeling things will be slowing down a lot more until the new year starts. It is how things have gone for a while here and I am sure it will carry on. All while giving us some alone time with our video games and to keep an eye on others like Hitman 3 and Wraith as we move into 2021. Read More...

Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Earthblood Rages Out With Some New Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 14th of December 2020 - 08:00 PM ]
Werewolf We have gameplay for Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Earthblood to give us a solid look at how this werewolf adventure will flow Here we go with some solid gameplay for the upcoming Werewolf: The Apocalypse — Earthblood to take in. A full six minutes that goes over the various aspects we have been pondering about and fresh out the mouths of Cyanide to give us clarity. It is exciting stuff indeed with February 4th not too far off now and many wanting to have a solid World Of Darkness title to play on most of the major platforms out there. That is not to discredit the other games in the Werewolf: The Apocalypse line, but an action game is what many have been waiting for since it was first teased at E3 oh so long ago. Read More...
