by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of July 2015 - 11:10 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games It's been an intense last few weeks in video games and the news and I'm sorry we've missed a few recaps for the week. I blame E3 and SDCC for being so closely crammed together and there being so many new video games and experiences to have to cover. We are small but we are mighty when it comes to covering our video games. If we weren't you wouldn't have had those track listings for both Rock Band 4 and Guitar Hero Live to go through here. Dreams Can Come True As Dream Has A Launch Date Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 17th of July 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
Indie game Dream now has a release date after two long years of being up on Steam Early Access bringing the developer’s dream of Dream being a reality to life It looks like dreams can come true as the narrative indie game Dream has an official release date and it is July 31st. This may not seem like a huge deal as it is a smaller title but for Hypersloth Games this is a huge success as they have been trying to get things official for almost two years now. Now Dream is becoming a reality and available for all of those PC gamers out there who are interested in giving this mind-bending adventure title a go. Think of it like diving into the mind of a not-so-mad-man where you will have to overcome the nightmares and dreams he is having. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 16th of July 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
Two more characters for Drawn To Death and their design process have been shown off and the design team wants to know your opinion It's only been about a month since we had our fist look at a new character for Drawn To Death so it seems about right for us to get another. How about two more? Well that is what we have eyes on here as the Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency has released the high concepts for two more possible character for Drawn To Death. One tentatively named King Tut who employs ancient Egyptian style weapons and the other being tentatively named Sci-Fi Ninja. That character's abilities and weapons in Drawn To Death should be kind of self explanetory for the most layperson out there. Read More...

The Walking Dead Getting A Live Performance At SDCC 2015
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 8th of July 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
Select scenes from The Walking Dead's season one from Telltale is getting the live performance treatment at SDCC 2015 As if there wasn't going to be a shortage on The Walking Dead at SDCC this year it looks like Telltale Games' video game is going to get the liver performance treatment and you can watch it right here. Granted you can't watch it until Saturday (7/11) at 8:00pm PST but if you can't make it out to San Diego to see it and what Skybound has to offer us all. I have a feeling that this will be a lot like the same event that was held for The Last Of Us only with the The Walking Dead being the story and those character/actors doing all of the work. Those who missed out on Gauntlet when it relaunched on PC will now get to play it on the PS4 with the Gauntlet: Slayer Edition I knew it was only a matter of time for the latest Gauntlet title to make it over to the consoles from PC and it looks like the first leap is with Gauntlet: Slayer Edition coming to the PS4. It only took about a year but Arrowhead Game Studio and Warner Bros. has been able to bring the dungeon brawler to a larger audience on August 11th. Read More...

A Lot Has Gone On This Week. The Dead Rise Again At SDCC With The Walking Dead Escape
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 2nd of July 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead Escape is back at SDCC 2015 giving all of us a feel for what a Survival Horror game really feels like in the world of The Walking Dead Looks like the SDCC tradition just keeps going as The Walking Dead Escape is making its return again to SDCC 2015. This would be the live action, survival horror experience set in the world of The Walking Dead that graced Petco Park back in 2012 and has been going strong ever since. The only difference this year is it would seem that this video game-like experience is being brought to life even more not with just the TV show but also it sounds like the other media platforms and versions are making a show during The Walking Dead Escape. Notably one of the best characters from the franchise; Negan. Read More...

Review — Hatred
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 30th of June 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Hatred. Is It Worth Your Time or was it all PR hype to grab your attention with the hyper-violence? Here's Our Review of Hatred If there has been one title recently that has made a huge splash in a short amount of time it was Hatred. This is the twin-stick shooter title from Destructive Creations that was denied on Steam and then allowed back after much outcry. Mainly all of the negative press being aimed toward the ultra-violence that is portrayed in this AO title only on PC that has garnered its claim to fame but we had a chance to give it a good solid play through and we have our own thoughts on Hatred. Without gilding the lily any longer or pissing off the game's protagonist much more, here is our review for Hatred. Read More...

Here's That Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain 2015 E3 Demo
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 30th of June 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
For those who were not able to see Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain in action at E3 2015 we have you covered with over 40 minutes of The Phantom Pain gameplay Not too surprising was the fact that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain was one of the big titles that Konami had on the show floor for many to see at E3. What was a bit surprising, especially given all of the Kojima Productions drama, was the fact that their main demo was out in the open for all to see at specific intervals during the show. I would have thought that they would have had The Phantom Pain behind closed doors to keep questions to a minimum as they have in the past but I guess with the September 1st release date coming they wanted as many players seeing why they should pick up The Phantom Pain for their PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, or PC. It looks like some gameplay for the upcoming Predator DLC for Mortal Kombat X has made its way online so we can all see the apex Predator killing all that Mortal Kombat X has to offer If you couldn't wait until sometime in July to see Predator in action for Mortal Kombat X then boy are you in luck. It looks like there is about 20 minutes or so of said gameplay out there in the wild that NetherRealm and Warner Bros. have yet to shut down in their tracks. Read More...

Our First Look At The Upgrades To The Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 29th of June 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
We have the first batch of screen shots to compare Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition to the original Darksiders 2 version to see how far the game has evolved Not that long ago now we had the official announcement for the Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition coming from Gunfire Games to bring the franchise to a new generation of fans out there wanting to give the franchise a chance but only got into things at the start of the PS4 and Xbox One days. That wasn't too long ago but you know, money and the want to push the Darksiders franchise forward require a new version of Darksiders 2 to be pumped out there. I won't complain as it will give me another new reason to don the Death mask and hop back into the fun and amazing universe designed by Nordic Games; even though this is another HD remaster of sorts.
