The first real trailer for Life Is Strange 2 is here and with it comes a few new updates and ideas on what to expect in Life Is Strange 2 We finally have our first real look at Life Is Strange 2 now and it looks like the game is going in a different direction than some thought from the past. If you had any inclination that it would be just a continuation from the first one that DontNod put out there, then you have not been paying attention and need to rethink your life. There are so many options that they could take Life Is Strange in, as we saw from the demo that Square Enix had them put out around E3, and this is a new one with a whole new cast, location, issues, and story. The third DLC for Far Cry 5 is about to drop and we have a small look at just what it will add to Far Cry 5 in the coming weeks If you have been waiting for more zombies to get into your games, then take note that the next DLC for Far Cry 5 is about to drop now and will be bringing you just that. Not that we did not know the third DLC in the Season Pass was going to have something to do with zombies, Ubisoft let us know that early on, but now we have a release date for the DLC and just when you will be fighting the undead. That date would be August 28th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC for all of those out there who picked up Far Cry 5 with the season pass. Read More...

Another video for Spider-Man is here to show off more of the combat and costumes we will get to experience in Spider-Man soon Another episode of "Just The Facts" has dropped on us for Spider-Man to give us more of the facts about the combat and other systems we will soon be playing with on our PS4. Well, more it is about the gadgets and other abilities we will unlock in our costumes more than combat as it is described here, but it does show a little more of the combat in the mix. Maybe that is what Insomniac Games wanted to play up instead or something. Read More...

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week That was a fun week in terms of video games. They always seem to be and I know we will all take it. Why would we not? I mean, this week we had a whole lot more for Fallout 76 and the upcoming Spider-Man game we are looking forward to. We had some great teases for games to come here soon out of Gamescom and such like Metro Exodus. To top it all off, we had a new review for the latest episode of The Council. Read More...

A new look at Battlefield V is here before Gamescom to show us a new location we will be running and gunning around in Battlefield V Gamescom may still be a little ways out, but that will not stop us from getting trailers early-ish as we have here for Battlefield V. It is usually how it always is for these kinds of things to get us all pumped to stand in lines to play the next subsection DICE has for us for the game wherever EA is showing it off at. You should know how it is now and it will continue for Battlefield V until October 11th when we all will be playing it and the teams move on to the downloadable content, updates, and the inevitable next title in the franchise launching next year. Unless they choose to take an extra year to make a bigger game for us all. Read More...

A new update for The Sinking City is here and it goes a little more into the details of how The Sinking City’s weather & lighting have changed There is still a ways to go until The Sinking City launches, March 21st of 2019, and it looks like the team over at Frogwares is taking that time to make sure the game lives up to our hype. Just like any good developer should. Given that time, it looks like they are also giving us all some fast and quick updates for the game to make sure we know what is going on in the madness that is the development of The Sinking City. It looks like Overkill’s The Walking Dead is heading to Gamescom and with that means we are getting a look at a new area in their take on The Walking Dead We will soon be treated with more for Overkill’s The Walking Dead as it looks like the developer is heading out to Gamescom here in the coming weeks and unsurprisingly bringing its gameplay with it. Not too shocking given that Overkill just showed the first bit off at E3 here and it was met with a whole lot of positive responses in general. Hells, we even loved the hells out of this take on The Walking Dead and are glad to see more gamers are going to get to check it out before launch. Read More...

A new video for the upcoming Spider-Man game is here to show us more of the in-game city we will be swinging around as Spider-Man Just as we thought we were not going to be seeing more of Spider-Man before its launch on September 7th, here we go with just a little more. Not much more as there is still a lot hidden away by Insomniac Games, but more in the way of the location and world we will be swinging around in. Anyone who knows Spider-Man, in general, knows we will be based in New York City and that means there should be a lot of iconic buildings and structures to keep an eye out for in the game. Well, it does not mean it but it is something we should do as we are swinging around with our PS4 controllers. Read More...

New videos for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey have released and give us a view of the Athens of the Assassin’s Creed universe and more naval combat If there is one thing that Assassin’s Creed has been known for it is the look and feel of the locations. At least after we get past all of the murder, historical stories, and other gameplay aspects we have seen in the past. That still does not change the fact that so far Ubisoft has done a great job capturing the locations and feeling of the era in their settings. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is not going to be any different and now we have further proof that we will be whisked back to Ancient Greece in the game. Read More...

New details for The Quiet Man are here as well as a look at how The Quiet Man will blend live-action and CG in this action game We finally have some solid details on The Quiet Man after the title was announced during E3 in a very strange way. All it seemed like we had was a live-action trailer with a little bit of gameplay mixed in. As it turns out, that was actually all "gameplay" from Human Head Studios as they are aiming to bring us a mix of live-action film mixed with third-person action gameplay to seamlessly tell us a nice little narrative. Little in terms of The Quiet Man spanning only one in-game night and only taking us about three hours to complete from start to end. Read More...

We sit down and review The Council: Ripples. This is the third episode of Big Bad Wolf’s interesting take on history & the occult. Here’s our review of The Council: Ripples The intrigue continues as The Council: Ripples has dropped out there and we have now had a chance to play it through. There is something huge building in the game and it looks like we are about to hit the point Big Bad Wolf has been building toward. At least it feels that way as we are now at the midpoint of The Council with this episode. Read More...

The pre-orders are up for Metro Exodus and with that comes all of the other ways you can pick up Metro Exodus before launch February 22nd is still a ways off, but now you can make sure you secure your copy of Metro Exodus well in advance. That is right. The pre-orders for the game have gone up and 4A Games is ready for you to throw down your cash and prove to Deep Silver that the game will bring the money back in. Not that anyone had much of a worry about that just yet. We just needed a fancier way of saying that the pre-orders are out there for Metro Exodus and that there will be a few different options for said pre-order. Read More...

A new behind the scenes video for Days Gone has dropped to explain how Days Gone will use a sense of realism to add to the gameplay tension in the game It may not be much for now, but we have another look at Days Gone here and how Bend Studio is aiming to use more realism in the game to add to the tension we will feel when playing. At least that is the claim here as we see how we will be forced to encounter hordes of "freakers" in the game early on and have to deal with that as we progress further into the game. Not only that but we will also have to worry about our motorcycle's status in Days Gone in terms of fuel and state of repair. Read More...

Another promotional video for Fallout 76 is here to show off a little more on the idea of teamwork we will have to have to survive in Fallout 76 Here we go with yet another promotional video for Fallout 76 and this time to show off more of the idea behind the multiplayer aspect that Bethesda is aiming for in the game. This is something that gamers have been wondering about since it was first announced it was the way it was going to be. It is a concern everyone has when we go into an MMO style of game as it kind of sounds like Fallout 76 is heading toward. Read More...
