by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 5th of December 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
The Last Of Us The continuation for The Last Of Us has been announced at PSX and it looks like The Last Of Us Part II will be changing a few things up for us in a good way If you were living under a rock over the weekend or just took a break then you may have missed that The Last Of Us Part II was finally given the announcement that many were hoping for. This would be the sequel to Naughty Dogs critically acclaimed apocalypse game that I'd be surprised to find any gamer who has not heard of it by now. Even with it being a PS3/PS4 exclusive title I am sure that many have heard or watched The Last Of Us on YouTube at the very least. Read More...

Detroit: Become Human Has More To Offer Out Of The E3 Demo
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 29th of June 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Detroit A new behind the scenes video for Detroit: Become Human has been released and it takes us deeper into how Detroit is being built to give us a rich experience I won't deny that Detroit: Become Human had me hooked way back when the first teaser for the game popped up as Kara. Hopefully you remember way back when she and the teaser for the game came out when Quantic Dream showed here off last year. It will make the rest of this a bit easier and also make sure you know of one of the other main characters we will be playing in Detroit when it launches on the PS4. A second protagonist was announced during E3 as we were given a nice little demo of the gameplay. Read More...

In fact they are in such a full swing over there that today Kojima Productions signed and announced a partnership with Sony Computer Entertainment for their first title the developer will be pumping out for us all. New Heavy Rain PS4 Screenshots To See How Well The Game Weathered
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of November 2015 - 03:00 PM ]
Heavy Rain A new set of screenshots for Heavy Rain on the PS4 have surfaced to let us see how well Heavy Rain held up from last gen to next gen It has barely been a day since we heard that Heavy Rain was hitting the PS4 on March 1st with all of the upgrades. I figured we wouldn't see any updates or anything until after the PSX this year when Quantic Dream will have a chance to show things off to more fans out there. Looks like I may have been wrong as it looks like we have a few new screenshots for Heavy Rain on the PS4 to show us how well the characters and world are going to make the leap from the PS3 to the PS4. Happy day and more Heavy Rain please! Read More...

Dig Up The Old Collection As PS2 Emulation On Is Headed To The PS4
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of November 2015 - 01:00 PM ]
PS2 Emulation It has been confirmed that PS2 Emulation will be coming to the PS4 so we can have some form of backwards compatibility even if it is only PS2 Emulation Looks like PS2 Emulation is on its way to the PS4 so we can finally have some backwards capabilities with the console now. It has been confirmed by Sony so there is no more debate but based on some titles bundled in with the Star Wars Battlefront editions PS2 Emulation is here and it looks to work well. Few details have been officially stated about it but if things are true from what Digital Foundry found it looks like there is more that PS2 Emulation mixed into this whole update. Some rather interesting things in fact. Read More...

Beyond: Two Souls A release date for the PS4 version of Beyond: Two Souls has been unveiled as well as what goodies this version of Beyond: Two Souls will house We all knew that Beyond: Two Souls was heading to the PS4 via an HD upgrade. We just didn't know when we would be seeing this happen and it looks like it is next week. More like November 24th to see Beyond: Two Souls available digitally for the PS4 as Quantic Dream has just made the announcement that more of the world will get to experience this great title. Of course just giving us Beyond: Two Souls on the PS4 wouldn't be enough to generate sales so it looks like there is even more for us all to expect when it hits next week. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 13th of November 2015 - 03:00 PM ]
PlayStation The list of video games on hand at this year's PlayStation Experience have been unveiled with a few more saved for when the PlayStation Experience is in full swing There are only a few more weeks until the PlayStation Experience kicks off this year in San Francisco and some are still out on if they should make the trip to see what Sony and PlayStation have to offer us all. There of course will be developer panels and the standard keynote for all to look forward to, but what will be on the floor for us all to play and "experience?" That is what the PlayStation Experience is all about and with December 5th and 6th quickly coming up; gamers need to make their plans. Read More...

PlayStation Is Giving PS4 Owners The Chance To Beta Firmware
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 19th of August 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Looks like the rumors from March are now true as PlayStation is allowing members to sign up to beta test new firmware for the PS4 Way back in March of this year rumors started springing up that PlayStation users would be getting a firmware beta program for the PS4. Nothing was concrete and set in stone back then as this was all based on a few emails and screen shots that could have been faked. Well it turns out they were not faked as right now PS4 owners who want to give new firmware a try can sign up to beta test on their systems. Because this is apparently a thing that PS4 owners have wanted so their Xbox One buddies would stop having something to gloat about. Read More...

The PlayStation Experience Is Coming Back & To A New Location
by Julia Thompson [ Friday, 14th of August 2015 - 03:00 PM ]
PlayStation Sony has announced that the PlayStation Experience will be happening again only this time the PlayStation Experience will be in San Francisco Given the success of last year's PlayStation Experience it would be a bit daft to think that it wouldn't be making a huge comeback this year. For the uneducated this would be Sony's huge PlayStation "Fan Fest" of sorts to show off all their new and current IPs, hardware, and ideas coming to their platforms. Seeing as they didn't make a big push for anything sans the Morpheus at E3 and other conventions we can most likely expect the PlayStation Experience to only show off items for the PS3, PS4, PS Vita, and the like but who knows? Maybe Sony will have some kind of huge surprise just for this event here and no one but they know at this time. Read More...

God Of War III Remastered Is Now Out & Kratos Is Destroying The PS4 Gods
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 14th of July 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
God Of War III Remastered has launched today and we have a nice, new trailer to show off how we all could be experiencing God Of War III on the PS4 The date has come and God Of War III Remastered is finally here for all of us who want to play the game on the PS4. It could the first time or it could be the 30th time but none the less God Of War III is now on the PS4 and remastered to 1080p and 60fps by Wholesale Algorithms for Sony Santa Monica. It has all the bells and whistles we remember from the first version just made all pretty for the next gen system as we all wait for God Of War IV or some other iteration to be created as teased by Cory Barlog at the PSX event last year. I guess it will be HD remasters until then. Read More...

Let's Compare More God Of War III Remastered To The Original
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 9th of July 2015 - 02:59 PM ]
If you needed more reasons to give God Of War III Remastered a go then we have it being compared side by side with God Of War III God Of War III Remastered is on the verge of launching on the PS4 to capture the hearts of all those new gamers who have not been able to play the game yet. I'm talking July 14th for those that haven't been keeping up with the times. Sony Santa Monica has taken great care to make sure we can have this PS3 title on the PS4 so we should all be getting excited. It is only the ending of sorts to the franchise's story (so far) and we need to make sure that everyone gets to play that on the PS4 even if they have yet to play the first God Of War titles not native to the PS4 just yet. Watch Hades Rule Again In God Of War III Remastered
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 19th of May 2015 - 03:01 PM ]
A new video for the God Of War III Remastered version coming to the PS4 has been released showing off the epic Hades boss battle The title here should really say it all but just in case, we have some new footage for God Of War III Remastered and this time it is the entire boss fight with my main man Hades. All of course in 1080p running at 60 frames per second so we can all get a good feeling for what we can expect to see from the remastered version Sony Santa Monica has been working on to bring us. Not a bad choice of fight or scene to bring us to show off God Of War III Remastered's new visuals if I do say so myself but of course I am a bit bias here. Read More...

Rumor: A New MediEvil Title May Be Announced Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of May 2015 - 03:00 PM ]
'Leaked' videos and stills may be showing that we may have a new MediEvil title coming soon; possibly for the PS4 Update It turns out this is not a new MediEvil title in the works but a fan build based on the original title in the hopes to show Sony why there needs to be a new MediEvil title made. Kudos on the build as it does look production quality at the end of the day. MediEvil — Unreal Engine 4 Yet another franchise can't keep things hidden for a great reveal as we now may be getting another MediEvil title for the PS4. Read More...

The Last Of Us: Left Behind Is Going Standalone
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 1st of May 2015 - 03:00 PM ]
The Last Of Us: Left Behind is coming to the PS3 and PS4 as standalone DLC for the core game of The Last Of Us in May So this seems like a little weird bit of news but The Last Of Us: Left Behind DLC will be coming to the PS3 and PS4 as a standalone experience on May 12th. This would be that DLC for The Last Of Us that gave us all a little insight into the background of Ellie and her friend Riley. This would be the bit of story that is only alluded to in the core game as to how we all found out that Ellie is immune to whatever fungus is floating around in the world. Now everyone will be able to experience it without having to have The Last Of Us or The Last Of Us Remastered. Read More...
