E3 Hands On â Shadow Of The Tomb Raider
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 18th of June 2018 - 03:00 PM ]
Tomb Raider While at E3, I was able to see Shadow Of The Tomb Raider in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Shadow Of The Tomb Raider. With Shadow Of The Tomb Raider not that far off from release, September 14th as a reminder, it was expected to see the game have a huge showing out at E3 this year and Square Enix did not let us down. There was a great showing during their huge press event the day before E3 kicked off, but also had a nice long demo for fans to play that Eidos-Montréal had put together just for the show. It was a nice subsection of the core game and let the world see what was coming to Shadow Of The Tomb Raider as well as show how the gameplay has shifted a bit. Read More...

Shadow Of The Tomb Raider Is Back With More Gameplay From E3 2018
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of June 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
Tomb Raider The first gameplay for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider is here now and we get to see how the franchise has evolved from the last Tomb Raider title We have been good and waited until this year's E3 to finally see Shadow Of The Tomb Raider in motion. At least in terms of gameplay. Since it has been known that Eidos-Montréal will have the game ready for us on September 14th, it was a given that we would get to see it during Square Enix's media event this year and then again on the show floor. They could have kept all of that under wraps until the release date, but that is just not how all of this marketing thing goes to make sure we are pre-ordering and ready for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider. I guess that is good for all of us who have been dying to see just what is in store for us with the game. Read More...

We Have You Covered With The Live Stream Straight From E3 2018 Not everything is going to be on the show floor of E3 2018 and because of that we have these huge press conferences and here we go with Square Enix's huge event just before the doors open for us all. Titanic New Gameplay For Kingdom Hearts III Is Here Fresh From Some Demos
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of May 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
Kingdom Hearts A bunch of new gameplay for Kingdom Hearts III is out there now after some big press demos showing off some large boss fights from Kingdom Hearts III Recently, select media outlets were given a chance to play a bit of Kingdom Hearts III and see where the game has progressed to. It looks like today was the day that Square Enix lifted the lock on the releasing of all of those impressions and feelings on where the game is at so far which means that we have a lot of new B-roll and off-screen gameplay to look at and dissect. I would have thought we would have needed to wait until after E3 for all of this, but it looks like Kingdom Hearts III is getting a head start like a few other titles out there. I will not complain, even though it makes it seem like we may not have much more to experience here in a few week's time. Read More...

Lara Is Ever Evolving To The Point In Shadow Of The Tomb Raider
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 16th of May 2018 - 03:00 PM ]
Tomb Raider A new developer interview for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider is here and it takes us through the evolution of Lara from the reboot of the Tomb Raider franchise to now I know we are all waiting for another big update for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider as all we have had since its first leak has been a nice looking CG trailer for the game. It showed us what Eidos-Montréal was aiming for, sure, but it did not give us any actual gameplay or too many details for the game. I have a feeling this was to hold off until Square Enix's big E3 showing that is planned but to give us all a taste. Read More...

Shadow Of The Tomb Raider Is Getting Some Help For The PC Version
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 30th of April 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Tomb Raider A new partnership is here for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider and it will make sure that PC gamers have the best experience they can have for the upcoming Tomb Raider title We may have just had the first semi-showing of Shadow Of The Tomb Raider last week, but here we are yet again to have a bit of information we did not get last week. It is nothing in terms of story, new gameplay, or even a direct look at the game from Square Enix. Sad, I know. Read More...

Shadow Of The Tomb Raider Is Revealed & Gets A Littler Darker
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 27th of April 2018 - 03:00 PM ]
Tomb Raider The reveal trailer for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider is here and it looks like we are going to see a darker Tomb Raider with this one The day is here and we now have the first real reveal for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider to get us all amped for. Sure the game was officially announced by Eidos-Montréal a while back, but this is the first video reveal that Square Enix has for the public. I state it that way as it is only a pre-rendered video we have for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider while select few in a few select locations have had the true chance to give the current version of the game a whole. Given that it is still slated to release on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on September 14th it would be a bit safe to assume it is in a decent place to get a good preview. Read More...

Kingdom Hearts III Is Bringing Some Game & Watch Mini-Games With It
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 16th of April 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
Kingdom Hearts A few new mini-games for Kingdom Hearts III have been shown off at a the recent Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross] Dandelion Meeting While it may not be the biggest news for Kingdom Hearts III, it looks like we have a look at some of the new mini-games that will be making the hop into the game here when it releases sometime this year on the PS4 and Xbox One. It is a small thing, indeed, but seeing Square Enix just kind of dropped this update as a surprise, we will take it. That all said, it looks like Kingdom Hearts III will be home to a few Game & Watch-style mini-games that Sora and crew can enjoy on their mobile devices in-game. Read More...

Shadow Of The Tomb Raider Is Officially Announced & Coming This Year
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of March 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
Tomb Raider Just in time for the new Tomb Raider film to hit theaters, Shadow Of The Tomb Raider has been officially announced and coming this year for all platforms It looks like we can put most of the rumors to rest as Shadow Of The Tomb Raider has been officially announced and let loose on the world. At least in the most teaser of ways as Eidos-Montréal and Square Enix are still holding off on the full reveal of the game until April 27th. They still needed to work with the hype of the new Tomb Raider film, so it makes sense that they would make this announcement now and not wait until the film is no longer anywhere out there. Kingdom Hearts III Is Officially Getting A Monsters Inc. World
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 12th of February 2018 - 03:00 PM ]
Kingdom Hearts The rumors are now confirmed as Kingdom Hearts III will have a Monsters Inc. world and we have new gameplay for Kingdom Hearts III to go along with the announcement Not too long ago there was a nice little rumor going around that Kingdom Hearts III was going to be getting Monsters Inc. as one of the worlds we would get to explore and play in. This was all due to a few "leaked" screenshots that were reported to come right from Square Enix's offices, but were never confirmed and left in the rumored state. Read More...

The Villains Of Dissidia Final Fantasy Are Coming Out In Force
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 27th of December 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy We have a new trailer for Dissidia Final Fantasy that shows off all of the villains from past Final Fantasy titles that will be in the mix again It looks like another great trailer for Dissidia Final Fantasy has been unleashed out there and this time it is a showcasing of the various villains from the franchise's past that will be showing up in the final version of the game. It seems to have slipped out there in the mix of all of the holiday fun, but Square Enix wanted to make sure that we all had a chance to see if our favorites will be in there. Of course, Sephiroth will be in there but also one of the best, Kefka from Final Fantasy VI will be showing up and doing what he does best. Read More...

New Leaked Images Point To Another World In Kingdom Hearts III
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 26th of December 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Kingdom Hearts A new batch of 'leaked' screenshots for Kingdom Hearts III are here and it looks like we have another new world coming to Kingdom Hearts III It looks like we all received an extra treat over the holidays here as we had a few more 'leaked' images for Kingdom Hearts III crop up on the internet and in this case, they show off a potential new world we are going to be exploring. I state potential as this is nothing that Square Enix has officially put out there and there is a slight chance that these could be faked, but they still look like the real deal if you ask me. Given that Kingdom Hearts III is still slated to hit the PS4 and Xbox One sometime in 2018, there is still plenty of time for the team to show off more potential worlds so if true I think we will get a solid confirmation at some point. The Final Core Episode Of Life Is Strange: Before The Storm Is Almost Here
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 6th of December 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Life Is Strange The third and final episode of Life Is Strange: Before The Storm is coming soon to wrap up the events leading to Life Is Strange in general Get ready to wrap up the base story for Life Is Strange: Before The Storm here in a few weeks as we now have a release date and trailer for the third and final episode for the game. Or at least the final episode in terms of the story that Deck Nine Games set out to do with this game and not just the extra content that is coming next year to better bridge this and the core game. Yes, that all sounds weird to say and it is weird to type, but that is just how it is until Square Enix goes out and funds even more of Life Is Strange to be made or just puts it in a folder somewhere.
