In an interview with Edge magazine Max Beland, new (as of 2008) Ubisoft Montreal executive describes how many people found the stealth based gameplay of previous Splinter Cell titles, mainly Chaos Theory and Double Agent, too much for the casual crowd. Despite high critical praise of past entries in the series, Beland feels that the way to more people's game libraries and to expand the Splinter Cell brand is to focus more on brutal action sequences and less on specific stealth, which he referred to as "good and fun stealth gameplay, but its hardcore." With the recent release of the Apple iPad, many of the Apps and Games have been coming out out for it. Plants vs. Zombies, one of PopCap success stories of 2009, is now releasing the game for the iPad in HD. Looks like Ubisoft might be gearing up to go into feature films, or at least shorts sometime soon. First they do a live action short based on all the beginning story to Assassin's Creed II. Something that was produced very well and added quite a bit of extra content to the overall experience of the game. At least it did for me. Plants vs. Zombies was one of the 2009 most played games for the PC, especially for those at Aggrogamer.com. PopCap Games has announced today that they will be releasing the game for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Plants vs. Zombies will be available now at the Apple’s App Store for $2.99. Ratchet and Clank has enjoyed a really good run these past 7 years, and A Crack in Time is a great cap to the "future" series. In what may be the final game in the series, Ratchet must rescue Clank from Dr. Nefarious (the villain from Up Your Arsenal, the third game in the series). Borderlands Review: A Cell Shaded Grind Loot. Every role playing game experience has it in abundance. It's the life's blood that drives a player to move forward. For that next precious piece of armor, that dominating piece of weaponry, or that elaborate spell scroll with it's twenty minute animation sequence. It's what the love-hate relationship of most RPGs is based on. Why I had so much fun with Borderlands in spite of this is due to the fact that Borderlands is using the RPG mechanism to compliment the existing FPS experience and not trying to cram it down the player's throats. Finally we get a release date! LittleBigPlanet will be released for PSP on November 17th 2009. As if the game on PS3 wasn't addictive enough, now its portable. Who knows what crazy levels people will come up with next! The PSP version will have most of the same functionality as it's PS3 counterpart, along with 35+ new developer created levels. So now when your sitting at the airport and you feel the need to make sack boy run through and amazingly complex level, the power will be at your fingertips. It is the job of trailers to get people excited about the product coming out. It's generally short version of the awesome that is in store for you when you get the full version. That or a small release of information that makes you look at the product and say, "Well shit the bed! That is awesome!"
