Suzumiya Haruhi no Gekidou, an upcoming japanese title on the Nintendo Wii, has released its latest trailer featuring Aya Hirano. The game features a dancing mode, which Aya shows off in this trailer, and the moves you make with the Wiimote simulate those of the actual dancing. For those who may not know, the game is based off of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and Aya Hirano is the actual voice actress of Haruhi in Japan. To the disappointment of many Suzumiya Haruhi fans, Kadokawa has announced that Haruhi No Gekidou has been delayed until January 22nd 2009. This was pushed back from it's original release date of November 28th 2008.  Haruhi No Gekidou is based off the extremely popular anime, The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi from Bandai Ent. For thos who don't know, while it's still known as the Haruhi Dance game, it was previously announced that the dancing aspect has most likely been cancelled. No More Heroes 2 - Desperate Struggle Yes, if you read the line above this, you know what is coming. Yes, there is going to be a sequel to the first game. If you have yet to play it, DEFINITELY give it a go. I didn't hop on at first. In fact it took a sweet little innocent ex-roommate of mine to inform me of how cool the game was. On September 30th it was officially announced on the Rock Band forum that AC/DC is coming to the hugely popular Harmonix title. Though their song “Let There be Rock” is playable for Rock Band 2, currently out on the Xbox 360 and soon for the PS3, the band will also be getting the stand-alone treatment for both the original Rock Band and its sequel. Available only on disc and not a part of the DLC, the installment will be titled AC/DC Live: Rock Band Track Pack and hits store shelves on November 2nd for the 360, PS3 and PS2. They dubbed it Wii HD. HD = High Definition Graphics. What, you thought Nintendo wasn't gonna go there? According to "sources" (aka the "they" from above) that have seen a presentation on the next Wii (keep in mind that this next step is going to be akin to the NES going to the SNES as opposed to the SNES going to the N64, in other words, much of everything is staying the same, however it will have better graphics), it will include High Definition graphics, a larger storage medium of either a hard drive or a much larger flash memory, and tweaked controllers. While it is not said whether or not they will use Blu-Ray they have stated that they would like to implement full backwards compatibility (the Wii optical discs currently use regular DVD standards). The Rock Band 2 registration site is now up and running for those looking to get their 20 songs via download.  While the songs aren't available yet, you can register now, so Harmonix can e-mail you the download code when they become available in a few weeks.  Also while filling out the form, it has a comment box where you can suggest Bands & Songs you would like to see on Rock Band 2.  Unfortunately, no word on what will be included in this 20 song DLC as of yet.  I personally hope they throw in some J-Rock, but I know it's all wishful thinkin. I know it gets hard to keep track of what is released! Mad World E3 Trailer I know I talked about this game once before. Dead Rising Ports To The Wii Yes, you read that right. Well at least that is what I have been able to gather from a very broken translation of the Japanese magazine Famitsu. So if you were still waffling on buying an XBox to get this game, it will be out on the Wii. Should be good news for some people who will remain nameless, but they are on this site. After 22 fantastic years of the Castlevania series, Konami announced that the latest installment of this series will be out in early 2009. This new installment will take full advantage fo the Wii controls, you will be able to employ numerous amounts of attacks on your enemies. I would imagine the controls would be similar to Zelda, where you use both the Nunchuck and the Wiimote. Where other Castlevania installments have fallen short, this title is going to break the boundries and let the player interact with the surroundings, which of course, will be used to destroy the minions of Dracula. So after being able to toss and destroy you enemies with weapons, you will also be able to use the monsters in the game and set traps for them ;) Not only will this game be insanely fun, it will also have a multiplayer option where you are able to battle 1v1 with your friends.
