EA released their new Sim City game this week to a huge fan outcry. Many gamers are dissatisfied with the always-online DRM and the poor servers. What makes matters worse is that EA is only allowing people who bought a physical copy of a game to request a refund. Unfortunately gamers who bought a digital copy of the game are out of luck.
The outcry and the refund controversy have gotten so widespread that Amazon has removed Sim City from their online store. At the time of writing the game has 1,072 one star reviews on Amazon.
