Nintendo has made some big announcements with their latest Nintendo Direct video. Satoru Iwata, Bill Trinen, and everyone’s favorite Reggie Fils-Aime have a plethora of updates and first-looks to whet the appetites of Wii U and 3DS owners everywhere. Microsoft Flatters Nintendo

Yep you read the title right. It seems that Nintendo isn't upset at all over the Mii looking Avatars that Microsft released at E3. Instead Nintendo is actually flattered..weird right?  In this month's issue of Club Nintendo (Latin America equivalent of Nintendo Power) they talk to company president Reggie Fils-Aime about his thoughts on the Xbox Avatars, "Copying is a way of flattering, so we're very flattered," said Fils-Aime curtosy of a transltor. Since Nintendo's ever growing success with the Wii and its little Mii's everyone could assume when Microsft unveiled their Xbox Avatars at this years E3 in July that it was an obvious ploy to try and garner the same attention from a group of gamers that Nintendo has gotten the most attention from- The Casual Gamer.
