The release for The Wolf Among Us Remastered is coming up quickly, with October 29th still set for the date that will hit the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC out there. Even if it felt as if it might have taken a lot longer for Telltale to finally get it to us, the days are just rolling by to the release. There is a good reason, though, why it felt like it took so long to get this remaster. Some very good reasons that we have on display to see why we needed to wait for The Wolf Among Us to come back, along with what new things the game is going to have for fans of the original. Let us have a look at how the remaster came about, and the other features that many of us might not know will be hidden in this version of Fabletown in a few weeks.

To kick things off for The Wolf Among Us Remastered, this is not just a normal upscaling or texture update for the game. As it turns out, this looks to be more of a remake, as all of the models, textures, and world have been remade to give us a title that feels more in line with a modern video game. They are making certain to tell us that none of the story or character looks have changed, but we can get more detail that was not available when the first version came out. If you need more than visuals to pull you back in, The Wolf Among Us Remastered will also feature five deleted scenes for us to experience in the world, along with a few other hidden elements that we missed out on due to space constraints before. Toss in some behind-the-scenes, new and old art, and the previously announced Noir Mode, and we have a fairly solid remaster on the way. Even if it does look and feel more like a remake now that we have all of the finer details. We will know for sure on October 29th, though.
