Invincible

Another Invincible character is crossing over into the bigger fight of Invincible VS very soon in the Character Pass

Here we go with a new multiversal project, with Invincible VS taking us there, with the fourth fighter coming to us in the Year 1 Character Pass. It is another from the deeper lore of the comics that Quarter Up and Skybound have been pulling from, and another that is breaking away from the usual "Superman" style of fighter. That is, we are going to be seeing Agent Spider swinging on into Invincible VS as the fourth character in the DLC run of things out there. Definitely not the character I was expecting to see in the mix of things, but one that I will gladly have join in the fun of it all. Now that we know the who, let us have a look at the what for the character. Even if this is all just a basic reveal and not much more to go on at this point.

If you have not been able to pick up on the context clues about all of this for Invincible VS, this new character is a version of Mark that just happens to be using the Spider-Man theming for the character. They also showed up in the third season of the cartoon and are a character that has been around the IP for a bit in one way or another up to now. It looks like they will be bringing over the same fighting style and moves to Invincible VS when they do come, but that is just an assumption based on the little introduction that we have for them at this point. It is not much, and there is no real fighting in the mix. Just a showing that they will be using many of the same fighting styles that we can expect a "Wall Crawler" character to use. My guess, Agent Spider will be agile and move about the screen rather quickly to get into the fighting forms. They will also be using one of the other DLC characters to explain why and how they are in the fight, but we will need to wait just a little longer to get to see that in action as of now.

Did you have Agent Spider on your BINGO card for a new character in Invincible VS, or did you think we would get another super-powered being in the fight? How do you think they will flow when it comes to the gameplay, and will it feel different than how we have seen Spider-Man in other video games? Who do you think will be the next fighter to make it into the game, and will it be another multiversal version of a character that we already know and love? Let us have all of those thoughts and discourse in the comment section a little further down the page here. We will keep the fun for Invincible VS coming to the website here, so please watch out for all of that.
