Halloween
New DLC for Halloween: The Game is on the way to us, with many more versions of the characters from the past Halloween films
It is the season, and the witching hour will be upon us in Halloween: The Game with some new DLC. No, this was not me teasing bits from the first few movies that IllFonic and Gun Interactive have been cooking up for the game with DLC. Even if that is the case, with us getting more to experience from the 2018 films and Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers in the mix. Both in the form of paid and free DLC that will be launching on the game before the big holiday. They are cutting it close, as this new map and other bits will be hitting the game on October 27th. A great way to close it all out and then slide right into the rest of the holiday seasons that roll out after it all. Let us have a look and see what will be there.
To kick things off here for Halloween: The Game, on October 27th, we are going to have a big update to the game that not only fixes and improves the game, but also will offer us a free map for us all. This would be the Tower Farm from 1978 that the films gave us. A nice little thing to keep players invested in the game after it has been out for a while. Those die-hard Halloween fans will also have the chance to pick up some new cosmetics to wear with Michelle and Eugene coming for the civilians, a few more costumes for all of the civilians to wear, and then new skins for Michael to wear from the fifth movie and the most recent run of films starting back in 2018. All of them can be bought individually or as bundles, depending on how much you want to toss out there for the game. Especially since they are all $9.99 to snag if you are looking to spend more money on the digital assets in the game that you might not get to see or use after the servers go down in the future. Keep that in mind before you shell out your hard-earned cash.
Halloween: The Game — The Revenge Of Michael Myers DLC Reveal
Now that players have had their hands on Michael Myers as he appeared in the film that started it all, “John Carpenter’s Halloween,” IllFonic is excited to share that they have partnered with Trancas International Films, Inc., and MIRAMAX to license new versions of Michael. On October 27, 2026, players can purchase the version of Michael from “Halloween 5: The Return of Michael Myers,” and the version of Michael from “Halloween 2018,” which mask design is being supervised by Academy Award winner Christopher Nelson, who sculpted the mask for the recent and highly successful trilogy of “Halloween 2018,” “Halloween Kills,” and “Halloween Ends.”
In addition, a new map will be added for all players who purchased the game, inspired by the settings of “Halloween 5” – The Tower Farm Map – where worn country roads meet at the center of a small, quaint farming community just outside of Haddonfield. A lit filling station anchors the new map, providing Civilians a reference point as they scramble across wide roads and through cornfields. While the map’s open nature helps with navigation, it also creates a no-man’s land where Civilians can become easy prey. Hide in roadside ditches to stay out of sight, then pray for the perfect moment for a harrowing sprint to safety.
Farmhouses replace suburban homes, shifting the feel and flow of 1v4 multiplayer matches. Farm equipment, hay bales, and overgrown brush turn every yard into a twisted playground for Michael Myers to attack. Barns, sheds, and houses give Civilians a chance to escape, catch their breath, and have a chance at evading the Boogeyman.
A harvest festival, trailer park, and pumpkin-filled gardens bring the new map to autumnal life, lit by the last light of a setting sun. A basement chase or a sprint through the pumpkin patch can go either way: seek new hiding spots and exits while Michael finds fresh ways to stalk his prey.
In addition to the new Tower Farm map and two Michael Myers skins, we will also be introducing two new Civilians, a very special Halloween costume pack, and more in the first of a series of post-launch content updates for Halloween: The Game that will be carried out across the first year.

Did you have DLC from Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers on the list of things for this game that you needed, or does that all feel like something that should have been included from the start? How big are you expecting the new map to be for the game, or will it be one of the smaller ones, with it being a free bit of DLC? Will there be a good use for the Civilian skins to wear, or will it just be a paid DLC to make you feel like you are standing out in the mix of other characters on the servers? Let us discuss all of that as we get ready for the holiday to fully kick off out there. We will keep on sharing all we have for Halloween: The Game as we are allowed to, so please watch the website and follow all of the social channels that we have to see where all of this is going. You will have a bit of fun along the way, or at least be updated with all of the news that you should have to ensure you are spending your money and time in the correct places.
