God Of War fans can now pre-order their copies of God Of War Laufey with all of the digital bonuses that are coming

The pre-orders are open now for God Of War Laufey for those who want to buy the game in digital or physical form for the PS5. The game is still slated to launch on February 16^th of 2027, but Santa Monica Studio and PlayStation want to make sure you are ready for it and have all of the extra bonuses. No matter which form of the game you aim to get. Even though, just as we saw with the most recent title that was released exclusively and was slated to be a massive hit, God Of War Laufey will only be giving us a standard and Digital Deluxe version of the game. Yeah, there has not been a Collector's Edition or anything more than the physical disc option for those who might want to celebrate the IP a bit more out there. What a wasted opportunity again…

Ignoring all of that when it comes to the teams pretending to support physical editions still, let us see just what we are going to get if we choose to pick up God Of War Laufey right now. Just for the pre-order side of things, we will have an extra Cosmetic set of armor for Laufey that we can add on, and then a Golden Leaves cosmetic for Phranque to have. If you choose to shell out a bit more for the Digital Deluxe version of God Of War Laufey, you will get all of that and a Dark Alchemy cosmetic set for all of Laufey's gear, a Digital Mini Artbook, and a Digital Soundtrack for the game. Oh, and a bit of in-game resources to make the journey easier. So, not all that much to have, and all of it Digital as well. I am not a fan of that, and it feels like they are going about this title in the least exciting way possible. I guess there will not be any additional things to add to my display case, and I will just wait until the day of launch to buy the physical version of this title. Such a sad time we all live in.

Were you holding out hope that we would get a big Collector's Edition for this one as we have for the other God Of War titles, or did the loser backlash to the game cause PlayStation to hold back? Will these cosmetics even be exclusive to the versions we buy, or will this just be an early access to them for paying a slightly higher price for the same game?
