New Horror Tales are coming into our world with the Early Access for Horror Tales Eats The World
It's almost spooky season, and we're always getting ready for some great horror tales to have out there, and now it looks as if Horror Tales Eats The World will be adding more to the gaming space on PC with an Early Access. After a bit of time out there, Fatih Atacan PRODUCTIONS is ready to show us all what they have in the gaming world and put some of our fears to the test. I guess, in this case, it's more about our ability to control those fears. I say this as Horror Tales Eats The World will be using microphones to capture our real-world levels to help guide the things hunting us down in this new "Found Footage" style of game. At least it's not one that is working only with the bodycam footage to help bring more realism into the gaming world. We'll know for certain on October 22nd when the game opens up for the Early Access.
Since this is another of the smaller indie games coming out there, most of you might not have a good idea of what Horror Tales Eats The World actually is. To get you caught up, it's a new horror title where we're going to get to play out various found footage scenarios of horror. Each taking place in a different location, but seemingly having a throughline of the same entity hunting us down in the mix. We'll have to be quiet in the real world, as the game will use both the in-game audio and the real-world audio to help everything hunt us down. As you'll see in the following video for Horror Tales Eats The World, that will have some very bloody consequences if it happens, so we'll want to be very quiet. That, or find a way to work around the real-world audio issues to ensure that we only have one thing tattling on us in the game. That wouldn't be the true spirit of it all, though, and I'm hoping that the Early Access will help the team find a solution to ensure that's not how most gamers are going to be streaming this when Halloween comes around.
Horror Tales Eats The World — Early Access
Each tape reveals the violence and terror that took place in its surroundings through disturbing VHS footage. Filled with bloody images, horrifying events, and unexplained horrors, every recording pulls you deeper into a new nightmare.
The game constantly listens to your microphone input. If you exceed a certain volume level, your character dies instantly.
- FILE #1 Find Whitney
Fresh out of prison, Clay enters a mysterious forest in search of his missing sister, Whitney. Deep in the woods, he discovers random VHS tapes documenting horrific events from the past.
As each tape reveals another piece of the violence that took place in the forest, Clay is drawn deeper into an increasingly dark nightmare.
He has only one goal: Find Whitney and make it out of the forest alive.
- FILE #2 Pyramid
Richie and Alex enter the Amunetra Pyramid to find its hidden treasure and steal it. However, they accidentally awaken an ancient curse. They are no longer alone inside the pyramid: mummies, flesh-eating insects, and more are hunting them. Will they give up the treasure and escape the pyramid… or will they die inside?
- FILE #3 Space Prison
James is a prisoner in a space prison. But when an outbreak occurs, a horrifying virus spreads rapidly through the station, infecting everyone. James discovers tapes left by a research doctor and pieces together the clues… Will he manage to escape the space prison and survive the viral nightmare?

The Early Access version of the game will include the Forest, with the remaining content coming between now and the full release.
