Control Resonant Is Launching Us All Into A Twisted Manhattan Now

Control

The launch for Control Resonant is almost here, and we have a last look at Control Resonant before we can jump into it

We are now a week away from Control Resonant hitting the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC out there, maybe a little sooner depending on how you went about buying the game, but here we are with one more look at the game to get us all hyped up. Not that Remedy needs to hype us all up too much, as we have all been waiting for September 24th to get here so we can see where the story goes from here. Especially after that nice little recap of the Control line so far, and hints that it will further link into the bigger universe the team has been building up to now. But there are usually a few more stragglers out there who need some goading to pick up their video games, and that is what we are here with one last time.

Just as we get with all games about to launch out there, we have one more look at Control Resonant and the action that we are going to have in the game. Along with that, we have a few more of the fun live-action shots that the developer is known to blend into the game's cutscenes and exposition scenes in the world. All to give it a bit more of the surreal feeling that the IP has been known for all this time. To top all of that off, and for a bit of the first time before the full launch of Control Resonant, we do get to see some things that look like boss fights in the game. That is what I will be leaning into here, as a giant floating head that is attacking us does rather feel like a boss fight to me. I could be wrong, but I am fairly certain that is not going to be the case. We will know for certain next week when we can all play the game on our chosen platforms.

Control Resonant — Launch Trailer

Manhattan has never faced a crisis like this. Reality has been twisted and bent by an invading cosmic force. Only Dylan Faden can stop this paranatural geophysical nightmare.

Control Resonant arrives September 24th, 2026, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam, and the Epic Games Store.

How do you think this one is going to change the world of Control out there, and will it impact all of their other games down the line? Will you be taking your time going through this game, or will you try to hammer it all out as fast as possible once it is loaded on your system? How many of these bigger boss fights do you expect there to be in the game, and will they all be as weird as we are seeing in the above launch trailer? Let us hear out all of those thoughts in the comment section down the page here. When we have more to share for Control Resonant, we will have it up on the website for you. All you need to do is keep on coming back and following along on all of our social channels to see when we have anything new. Especially now that we have one more week until the game fully lands out there in the wild.
