Control Resonant Offers Up A Few More Features On The PS5

Control

Take a dive into the various PS5 features on the way to Control Resonant, and see if they will give you a little more Control

Just ahead of next week's release for Control Resonant, we have a rundown of the various features that those playing on the PS5 will have out there. It always feels weird to say, but Remedy wanted to make certain we all knew what we were getting ourselves into with the game on the console, and why we should be looking to get it here instead of on the other platforms. Not that Control Resonant is going to look or handle any differently, but if the team took the time to put the extra work in, we might as well know what we are going to get to experience. Even if it is starting to feel like it is going to be the same no matter what game we are playing on the PS5. That all said, let us have a look at the extra features we can expect on this platform on September 24th.

Just as we might have all expected at this point, Control Resonant will use all of the haptic and adaptive triggers to its advantage to bring us deeper into the game. Both in the responses from our attacks and those of the various foes we are going to be facing off against. Then, for those who have the hardware to enjoy it all, we are going to see some lighting, rendering, and 3D audio effects to bring us deeper into the world that Dylan will find himself in. None of them seem like they are much more than any of the other games out there, but it is something that Control Resonant is leaning into. I am going to guess that some of these will require the PS5 Pro on top of having the home theater to do all of these things, but that is more on us gamers than it is the developers. This is all about what we can do if we have all of the disposable income to set up our gaming space, and not what we should expect if we are still only on the average setup in our homes.

Do you think any of this is going to bring you deeper into the world of Control, and is it all just more marketing to make us think this is the better version? Will your average player be able to experience any or all of this, and will you need to upgrade anything to experience this in your home? Are you going to give the game a play a few days earlier than everyone else, or are you going to wait until the full game goes live on your chosen platform? Let us hear what you are thinking down in the comments section, then discuss it with everyone else. We will see what else Control Resonant has to offer up for the world in the coming week, so please join us on the website for all of that. You will want to follow all of our social channels to make certain that you are not missing out on any of those updates as well. We have a lot to share, and that is always the fastest way to learn when we have anything new to drop out there.
