The next class for Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 is on display, with the Medic coming out to help us survive all of the Aliens
With August 25th coming up so fast, I would've thought that we would see more of the classes for Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 by now, but it looks as if Cold Iron Studios was holding out on all of that up to now. We've only seen one so far, and now Daybreak Games has a little video showcase for the next Marine class that we are going to play. This would be the Medic, and the name does rather tell us what we are in for when it comes to how they are going to handle the aliens out there. Not that they won't have combat abilities, but they really will be the true support for us all as the Xenomorphs flood into the area. Let's see just what they are going to have as they lock and load out into the space.
To get things out of the way, the Medic will be able to do just as the title describes in Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2. They will have perks that will allow them to save downed allies, along with the ability not to get knocked back as far when doing their job if they are attacked. They will also have the ability to keep the team flowing through all of the healing aspects that the medic should have. In addition to all of that, it does look as if they will be able to use their medical knowledge in Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 to attack back in various ways, along with their specialized firearms. As the following footage shows, it does look as if they might have a few area-of-effect attacks that could slow and drastically harm the Xenomorphs if they start to overwhelm. Have a look and see if this is going to be the class for you, even if we have two more combat classes on the way before the game launches out there.

The Digital Standard Edition of Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 will be available August 25 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Epic Games Store, and Steam. Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 - 40th Anniversary Premium Edition will be available simultaneously across those platforms.
The 40th Anniversary Premium Edition includes the base game and the following DLC that draws from the broader Alien universe. The DLC content is also available August 25. Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 - 40th Anniversary Premium Edition Upgrade for players who purchased the Digital Standard Edition.
