Halloween is going to have a much darker tone this year, with more announced for this year’s Halloween Horror Nights
It is starting to look as if Halloween Horror Nights is going to be hitting all of the various forms of media out there again, with two more mazes and a new scare zone announced for this year. One from the film side, one from the musical side, and one more from the video game side. Universal Parks are going to be going all over the place, even if they still need to land a good comic book option to keep the momentum going. Not that Halloween Horror Nights is going to be a slouch with Evil Dead Burn and Ozzy Osbourne having their own mazes and merch, and with Fortnite dropping us all into a new scare zone for the year. This one is truly starting to shape up insanely well.
Just as with all of the other mazes and areas for Halloween Horror Nights, there's not much else to go on for what they will bring to the parks. We can assume that the Evil Dead Burn maze will walk us all through the events of the recent film as the actors try to scare us. For Ozzy Osbourne, it does sound as if the maze will run us through the various eras of his music, while the music plays in the background of it all. For Fortnite, it looks as if the scare zone will be filled with various toons that feel like they could be in the game, just that they are roaming the open streets at Halloween Horror Nights instead of shooting at us. A weird way to allow a variation of ages into the theme park for this fun, but we'll have to wait to see if that will all pay off when it does.

The Book of the Dead has been reopened, and now an infernal force consumes a family home. In this haunted house based on the new film, Evil Dead Burn, try to dodge possessed Deadites hell-bent on bloodshed — and encounter not just the root of evil, but the whole family tree.
