With 3D on the rise, in movies, television, and typical home entertainment, it is nice to see Nintendo jumping on the bandwagon, and getting 3D to the gamers sooner than expected.
Nintendo has announced that they will have more information regarding their new 3DS at E3 on June 15th. Nintendo is claiming that players will need no special eye wear in order to enjoy the tasty 3D game experience. The new 3DS will be backwards compatible with Nintendo DS and DSi games.
According to the press release, they are planning on an early 2011 release date.
