Let The People Know & Blood Flow For Mad Max's Savage Road
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 26th of May 2015 - 07:02 PM ]
There is a new Mad Max trailer that shows off a bit more on the game's story with hints of being linked to Mad Max: Fury Road By now I am sure most people have seen Mad Max: Fury Road and are familiar with the story of the Mad Max universe. Sure you could have had a nice filler from the original films and lore but now we can say everyone born after the 80's should know about Mad Max. Not that Avalanche Studios version of the game is directly linked but we can easily see how one influenced the other in the most recent story trailer for Mad Max. That being the film's new look and feel moving into the video game's look and feel. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 4/20/15 — 4/24/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 24th of April 2015 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Another week down and another week closer to having all of those video games that we keep talking about here. Or the DLC of said video games. You get the deal here. We had yet another productive week in video games and all of the news and updates we could have wanted. Granted we have the big Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 reveal coming over the weekend even though all of the 'leaks' and teases may have spoiled a bit of it all. We can ignore all of that and look towards Mad Max and whatever Marvel and Telltale have chambered for us in 2017. Read More...

A new gameplay overview trailer for Mad Max has been released and it shows how far Mad Max has evolved since we saw it so long ago If we haven't had anything to be excited for with Mad Max lately then get those motors running. We have a new gameplay trailer for Mad Max straight from Avalanche Studios and Warner Bros. Not only a new gameplay trailer but a gameplay overview to show off the game and how amazing it looks now that the team has had a massive amount of time to perfect everything. It looks like Mad Max is going to be a whole lot more than just brutal killing in a mad post-apocalyptic world that is the Wasteland. Read More...

Have Some More Mad Max Images To Punch You In The Eyes
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 21st of April 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
A few new screenshots for Mad Max have made their way online for us all to look at in awe as 'Mad Max' beats down his enemies September 1st just doesn't seem like it is going to get here fast enough so I can play Mad Max. It just won't and I don't think any level of complaining is going to rush Avalanche Studios to try and push the release date any closer. They already bypassed the need to have Mad Max out around the same time the film is hitting so at least we know that they are trying to take the time to make the game amazing and its own thing. As Mad Max should be. Read More...

We Have More Pretty Faces To Grace Mad Max
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 27th of March 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
New characters and descriptions have popped up for Mad Max during Game Informer's huge coverage of the game Just in case you've been missing out, it is Mad Max month over at Game Informer so they can try and capitalize off the hype for the new film that is coming out in a little over a month. None of the information there is for the film but for the new game coming from Avalanche Studios. At least it would feel like it was new information if it was anything that the developer hasn't already told us or shown the world before. Outside of the announcement that Mad Max is only coming to the next gen platforms there hasn't been all too much for anyone that has been keeping a close eye on the game and its development. Mad Max Is Still Coming But Only For The Next Gen Systems
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 3rd of March 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
Warner Bros. and Avalanche Studios have confirmed that Mad Max is still coming for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC this September For all of you out there hoping for anything new for Mad Max from Warner Bros. and Avalanche Studios we have some good new and we have some bad news. Since it is how we roll here on the site we'll start with the bad news. It looks like Mad Max will no longer be releasing on the PS3 and Xbox 360 systems. There is no word as to why but seeing as Game Informer is getting an exclusive month of looks at Mad Max I am sure we will find out why Avalanche Studios has dropped those systems from the list and focused on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions of the game. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 23rd of February 2015 - 08:02 PM ]
An info dump for Legacy Of Kain: Dead Sun has brought us over 30 minutes of gameplay and footage for the game that was scrapped back in 2012 by Square Enix There is nothing like the sting of losing a title like Legacy Of Kain: Dead Sun. Except for the sting of seeing how great the game was shaping up before Square Enix pulled the plug on it and moved portions over to another title that is on the verge of release. That's right. We have some gameplay footage for Legacy Of Kain: Dead Sun from a forum member over at NeoGaf as well as a whole slew of screens and information about the game that looks like it will never be. Looking To Play The Elder Scrolls Online With Your Console? You'll Be Waiting
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 9th of May 2014 - 09:01 PM ]
The Elder Scrolls Online console version has been delayed for another six months but with a few small perks. It looks like we can add the console version of The Elder Scrolls Online to the list of delayed games this week. It looks like ZeniMax Online and Bethesda have deemed that they need another six months to get the PS4 and XB1 versions of the game up to snuff for us all. The better news here over the prior delay of Dying Light is that this delay is all based on the server issues for the MMO title and not any actual gameplay. That is at least good news. Read More...

This Week In Gaming 4/21/14 — 4/25/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 25th of April 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Gaming. This has been one bipolar week for gaming news hasn't it? Maybe you haven't seen anything yet so you might not know but below is yet another list of what we covered in the world of gaming. It started out slow, then picked up, then dropped off again. The world of gaming all wrapped up with a confirmation of two things; Mad Max is still coming although late and that The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will have Carnage as one of the prime villains of the game. Those were the most recent items in this week of gaming but we also got the rumor that there would be a Resident Evil 7 announced as soon as E3 and a whole lot going on in the world of Watch_Dogs. Avalanche Studios Has Their Magnum Opus In Mad Max
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 25th of April 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
A new game trailer for Mad Max has been released showing off the amazing vehicle of the game; the Magnum Opus. One could have had a baby in the time it has been since we last got a video look at Mad Max from Avalanche Studios and Warner Bros. That isn't too much of an exaggeration either. In fact it had been so long that recently I began to question if Mad Max was still being worked on or if it had been canned quietly so as not to have everyone asking 'Why?'. It looked amazing when I first saw it at E3 2013 and it looked like the dev team was well on the way to having a finished product soon. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of April 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
Here is a new cinematic trailer for The Elder Scrolls Online to help show why you should be playing the game. The Elder Scrolls Online is now out for the PC master race and soon for the second class citizens of the next gen consoles. There is also nothing like a fully pre-rendered trailer to show us why we should all be playing a game. As it would seem we have one of those new trailers for The Elder Scrolls Online in all of its glory. It is full CGI. Read More...

Arriving Out Of The Aether Is The New Elder Scrolls Online Cinematic Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 3rd of February 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
Bethesda has given us a new look at the Elder Scrolls Online in CGI trailer format. Sit back and watch as it will probably get you excited for the game's release. If there is anything that can get us all riled up right now it is a new trailer for Elder Scrolls Online as no one who is in the βeta is allowed to even show off a single screenshot yet. Even if you have played the βeta for Elder Scrolls Online I am sure that you will also get excited to see the new Arrivaltrailer that quietly shows us a bit of the game's rich story through silent heroes. It sounds a bit odd, but it works. Read More...

E3 2013 Impression: Mad Max
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of June 2013 - 11:00 PM ]
I was born when Mad Max 2 hit the big screen and I was barely four when Beyond Thunderdome came out, but that still didn't stop me from enjoying the films, and the NES game, in my youth. You can only imagine my excitement when I saw the announcement trailer for Mad Max during the Sony press conference. Even though it was all CGI, Avalanche Studios had an Alpha build of the game in the Warner Bros. booth to show to all of us eager fans. Read More...

The Disappearance Of Single Player
by Greg Tatterfield [ Wednesday, 1st of August 2012 - 09:49 PM ]
Remember the time when you placed a new game in your game console and you could expect an epic and memorable single player experience? I am among those gamers who remember having that full-blown experience with every new game that graced my console. As an old school gamer that owned all the major systems since the 90s I see a disturbing trend that could spell trouble for fans of single player games. The problem is that single player seems to be becoming extinct. It’s no secret that online multiplayer has became exceptionally popular among the current generation of gamers. Read More...
