September 1st just doesn't seem like it is going to get here fast enough so I can play Mad Max. It just won't and I don't think any level of complaining is going to rush Avalanche Studios to try and push the release date any closer. They already bypassed the need to have Mad Max out around the same time the film is hitting so at least we know that they are trying to take the time to make the game amazing and its own thing. As Mad Max should be. So with that I guess we'll just have to sit and abide by the slow going dissemination of information and visuals for the game. The "wasteland" of info for the game should fill up soon.
None the less, we have a few new shots and better looks at old ones for Mad Max. Here we get to see a little bit of the melee we will be getting into as well as how cool the driving and vehicular combat will look. It would have been better in a nice little trailer for the game in my opinion but we will have to take what we can get right now for Mad Max. Even the month long "exclusives" that other sites had really didn't give us all too much to expand upon. Almost like there is going to be one Hells of a tight lip going on for Mad Max until either the non-tied-in film hits theaters or we get some good hands on at E3 in just over a month.
I won't keep you from looking any more. Here are all of those mentioned looks at Mad Max. Gods I hope this game is going to be worth the long wait we've been through. Don't let us down!
So with that, what do you think of Mad Max now? Still have you by the scrotum; or metaphoric scrotum? What do you want to see out of Mad Max moving forward? Join in the fun of talking about the game and all video games down in the comments just below these words. There may be gasoline involved…
