This Week In Video Games 1/9/17 â 1/13/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 13th of January 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site I don't think there is a gamer out there that can claim this wasn't a huge week for all things video games. There was something for everyone this week; even though some of the news was a sad note for a huge portion of gamers out there. With this I am talking about the cancellation of Scalebound, but at least we had all kinds of great news for the Nintendo Switch, For Honor, and Resident Evil 7 to name a few. We are getting into a lot of fun waters here and a lot of great titles are on their way so we know that things should be getting crazier here. Read More...

Resident Evil 7's Fear Comes Even More Alive With A 4D Experience
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 13th of January 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Resident Evil 7 A newly licensed candle for Resident Evil 7 has popped up and aims to bring a 4D experience to Resident Evil 7 through VR as well as scent If you were starting to get brave enough to give Resident Evil 7 a play through in VR, or you already have, then it is time to try and up the ante here again. As it turns out, Capcom has another way to trick the senses here for the game as they have joined forces with merchandiser Numskull to bring a candle to us for the game. Not just any candle as that wouldn't be too insane for Resident Evil 7, but a candle that will put off the smells we will have from inside the Baker estate in the game. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of January 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Resident Evil 7 A new trailer for Resident Evil 7 has popped up online and it shows off a good chunk of Resident Evil 7's horror aspect as well as a few other things There is nothing like a good dose of Horror to wake us up in the morning and that is just what we have here for Resident Evil 7 in its new trailer for the game. It may not be the jump-scare and gore that you may be thinking of, but it is a nice look at the horror that Capcom has put together to bring the franchise back to its roots in the genre. Resident Evil 7 has been getting more and more attention for just that and since the demo popped up for all to experience now it has only been escalating more as we get ever so closer to the January 24th release date. Resident Evil 7 Is Getting A Real World Experience To Bring Us More Horror
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 6th of January 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Resident Evil 7 A new event for Resident Evil 7 has been announced and will physically place people in the world of Resident Evil 7 and all of its horror As if Resident Evil 7 wasn't already terrifying enough with just the visuals and taking away the VR experience, but it looks like things are going to get a lot scarier for those who opt to take the plunge. As it looks, Capcom is bringing a real-world version of the house from the upcoming title and having people play out some of the events in real life as well. Yes, this is more or less a Resident Evil 7 haunted house that will be coming just before the launch of the game on January 24th. Read More...

Data-Mining May Have Revealed Resident Evil 7 DLC & The Final Boss
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of December 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Resident Evil 7 Some new, possible, details for Resident Evil 7 may have emerged out of the most recent Resident Evil 7 demo to hit the PC Some new details for Resident Evil 7 may have just been found hidden the most recent PC demo that released earlier this week and some of it all points to some solid story tidbits, possible DLC, and who we might see as a final boss in the game. Of course none of this is confirmed by Capcom as it still falls into that whole rumor category but if it is true it could mean that we will see how it fits into the overall Resident Evil world. That and Resident Evil 7 would be getting a card game and a whole chapter of the game based around just puzzles and horror instead of all of the other stuff that we will see get mixed in. Resident Evil 7 Welcomes PC Gamers To The Family With The Famed Demo
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 19th of December 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
Resident Evil 7 The PC version of the Resident Evil 7 demo has been released and we already have a look at Resident Evil 7 running with some great gaming specs Good news for all those PC gamers who wanted to give Resident Evil 7 a try just as those PS4 and Xbox One gamers have been for a bit now. The Beginning Hour demo has finally hit Steam for all of you to give it all a play and see what Capcom has set up for us all when January 24th finally hits us all next year. Still such a long wait for Resident Evil 7 but I have full faith that it will be worth it and that is just based on the slowly released version of the demo and not what everyone no has access to go out and download right now. The Latest Resident Evil 7 Gameplay Is Truly Disturbing
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 8th of December 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Resident Evil 7 The Resident Evil 7 gameplay that we had before has been released without overlaid commentary & it makes Resident Evil 7 look truly terrifying Last week, if you recall, we were able to see a lot of other media outlets talk about Resident Evil 7 in terms of a huge demo they were able to play. Something like four to five hours they were able to play and then they all had their little videos describing it all over some great looking b-roll that Capcom provided them. It looked nice but we were all forced to hear about Resident Evil 7 through their point of view when we had some solid gameplay to look at in the background. Read More...

Let's Face The Disturbing Reality Of Resident Evil 7's Latest Tape
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 6th of December 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
Resident Evil 7 The third Tape trailer for Resident Evil 7 has been released and it show a lot more of the horrors Resident Evil 7 will hold for us The third, and presumably final, video TAPE trailer for Resident Evil 7 has been released and now we get a better glimpse at what may actually be going on in the game outside of the little teases that we've had before. It looks like we really are getting that isolated feeling from the game and that Capcom is removing out the involvement of Umbrella; at least in a heavy way. I am not going to knock it at all until I've been able to truly try out the final version of Resident Evil 7 but it is an interesting thing to see. Read More...

Just to name a few titles and such but as we saw there are still many more. Read More...

Resident Evil 7 Just Had A Major Showing With New Gameplay & Details
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 30th of November 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
Resident Evil 7 A recent showing of Resident Evil 7 in Japan has given us a lot more details for Resident Evil 7 as well as nine more minutes of gameplay to shock & awe While we are still waiting to see the next "video tape" for Resident Evil 7 sometime in December, that doesn't mean that the hype and gameplay have been halted for us all. January 24th is getting ever so closer and Capcom still has a lot hidden behind the doors still and some of it would be nice to see before locking in that pre-order purchase. Thankfully, at least for the "preferred media" there was a huge showing of Resident Evil 7 in Japan where some outlets had the chance to play four to five hours of the current build of the game. Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site This sure has been one crazy week and not just in video games. We won't go into all the other stuff going on in the world but we'll focus back on our little distractions that had some updates. Like Final Fantasy XV and Resident Evil 7 to name a few. That is if we ignore N7 Day as well and skip over the Mass Effect updates that we had to see. Read More...
