Feudal Alloy Has A Set Release Date Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 3rd of January 2019 - 06:00 PM ]
The release date for Feudal Alloy is now set down and we can expect to be playing Feudal Alloy very soon Almost a year after we first heard of Feudal Alloy over here, we are seeing the game finally come to market. Yes, that means that the release date has been set down and we can expect to play this game from Attu Games on the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch on January 17th. Not much time between now and then, but that just makes it all that much better. I mean, we could be waiting until 2020 to play Feudal Alloy and I would be rather put off at that point. Read More…

Fallout 76 Will Be Getting More Vaults & Player Vending
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 2nd of January 2019 - 10:00 PM ]
The first update coming to Fallout 76 for 2019 has a few more details now with one being a solution to what Fallout 76 players have started No matter where you stand with Fallout 76, you have to admit that it looks like Bethesda is trying to do the right thing with the game. Sure, there have been missteps and many fans out there who have been completely let down by the game as it was not what they were expecting, but at least it has not been completely abandoned and we are seeing more updates to the game. More than just bug fixes too as we have yet another update for Fallout 76 that sounds like it will be bringing along some new things to the game as well as solve some of the issues that players have fixed themselves. At least fixed without having true Mod support for the game. Read More…

Bright Memory Is Hitting Early Access Very Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 2nd of January 2019 - 08:00 PM ]
The first-person Hack-N-Slash FPS, Bright Memory, will be coming to Early Access on Steam with about a third of Bright Memory’s content If you have been paying attention to smaller developers out there then you may remember a little title named Bright Memory that was granted funds and had a team of one working on it. It looks to be a blending of hack-n-slash gameplay with a bit of an FPS mixed in and now it looks like we will be able to give it a go on January 12th. That is when Bright Memory is heading to early access over on Steam so those interested in the game can see how it has come along since it was first showcased in 2017. Read More…

Ubisoft Seems To Be Teasing Something In One Of Their Franchises
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 2nd of January 2019 - 06:00 PM ]
A new tease from Ubisoft is out there that could be leading to a major announcement for one of Ubisoft’s franchises There may be a big announcement out of Ubisoft here in the not too distant future as it seems like they are teasing something. At least that is how many have been taking it based on things popping up in Ghost Recon: Wildlands and now a teaser video that has been placed out there. It could also mean nothing at all, but given how the internet runs now, it has led to murmurs of a new Tom Clancy game or maybe even a new sequel to one of Ubisoft's other titles. At least given the content in the video here. Read More…

This Week In Video Games 12/26/18 — 12/28/18
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 29th of December 2018 - 12:00 AM ]
A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Thus concludes this year's coverage of the world of video games. We will obviously be back in 2019, but here we are at the end of 2018 and riding the fun wave all the way. There are still a few more days until then, but this will be our last one until then as I doubt we will see much more for those video games like Jump Force and Resident Evil 2 before then. I mean, there could be some other updates for games like Afterlife before then, but I do not think that will happen. Read More…

The Obligatory 2018 Video Games Year In Review List
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of December 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
There were a lot of video games that came out in 2018 and we tried to review as many video games as we could. Here’s a recap of them all The year is finally over and there were a lot of great video games that came out. There were also a lot of shitty ones in the mix as well. Just like every year, there were all over the place and we had a chance to give a good chunk of them all a play and thus a review. Hells, we even had more indie-based video games mixed in to add an extra level of interest here. It, of course, is not a list of all video games that came out this year but it is a list of what we had to experience over here in our little part of the world. Read More…

Leon’s Backstory Is A Bit Different In The Resident Evil 2 Remake
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of December 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
It has been pointed out that the Resident Evil 2 Remake will be changing Leon’s backstory a bit than we knew in Resident Evil 2 The differences from the Resident Evil 2 Remake and the original game are growing outside of just visuals and a bit of level design as it has been spotted that story elements are being shifted a bit too. This is something I always figured Capcom would do here too, but now we have more proof as it looks like Leon's backstory is getting shifted a bit too. Some say to a less dark place than we knew in the original Resident Evil 2, but it feels a bit more fitting given what we will be experiencing in the game. Read More…

Devil May Cry 5 Will Have Some Odd Live-Action Mixed In
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 28th of December 2018 - 06:00 PM ]
A new tease for the live-action parts of Devil May Cry 5 have been revealed and it looks just as odd as Devil May Cry has ever looked before One of the more odd things added into the Deluxe Edition of Devil May Cry 5 has to be the inclusion of live-action options for the cutscenes in the game. Given that this edition is the only way to unlock them during the game is the first part, but also it is live-action mixed into an all-digital game. It seems like a waste of money on Capcom's end, but they are going to do what they are going to do. Read More…

Relive The Story That Will Lead Up To Metro Exodus
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 27th of December 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
A nice recap of the Metro story so far is here to get us all ready for when Metro Exodus finally launches next year It has been some time between the last title in the series and when we will be seeing Metro Exodus. About five years or so have passed by in the real world and about two in the game world. There is a whole lot of information that we could have missed or let slip through since 4A Games delivered us a title in the franchise. That means that there is a lot riding on Metro Exodus at this point so we may need to recap a few things before diving in on February 15th. Read More…

Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes Has More Gameplay To Take In
by Duke Searles [ Thursday, 27th of December 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
New gameplay for Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes is here to give us a bit more on how this No More Heroes title will handle at launch We have some new gameplay for the upcoming Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes here and it gives us a small taste of what we can expect to see on January 18th. I hope you have a Switch or received one over the holidays as it will be exclusively there still, but at least it looks like Grasshopper Manufacture will give us a reason to stick with the console. It also helps if you are a fan of the No More Heroes franchise too as this is a new story and fresh start for the titular character we have been following along over a few games already. Read More…

Serious Sam Collection Could Be Heading To The Current Gen Consoles
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 27th of December 2018 - 06:00 PM ]
A rating for a new Serious Sam Collection has been spotted that suggests the old Serious Sam titles will be heading to the PS4 and Xbox One It looks as if a new Serious Sam Collection has been spotted out in the wild. Well, at least the rating for the collection has been and nothing that Croteam has officially stated, but it does sound like we could be seeing a collection here. Oh, we already had one? Well, this Serious Sam Collection is poised to hit the PS4 and Xbox One instead of the older consoles as the previous one did. Read More…

Jump Force Has A Few More Characters Joining The Roster
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of December 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
A few more characters for Jump Force are here to look at as the roster for Jump Force expands just a little bit more before launch It is getting close to launch and we still have more characters coming for Jump Force as we have another video that shows some off. At least one new one and then one that was announced by Bandai Namco already and getting the flashing showing now. Unless you have seen Deku from My Hero Academia and/or Asta from Black Clover in the past for Jump Force before last week. I do not think I have, so we will treat them as fully new for our purposes. Virtually Choose Your Own Way Through Afterlife
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of December 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
The first dev diary for Afterlife is here to show us how the team has started to bring this VR choose-your-own-adventure about the Afterlife to life Here we go with a new little twist on the VR and live-action as Afterlife is bringing both of those together to give us an interesting experience with a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure twist. That is at least as it basically sounds with a darker and grimmer style of story tacked on here. I mean, Signal Space Lab is taking us through an "intimate journey through tragedy, grief, and acceptance" in the experience here so… In any instance, we have a new behind the scenes look at how Afterlife is being put together to show that a great VR game can be done with live-action sequences and not all virtually generated stuff. This Week In Video Games 12/17/18 — 12/21/18
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 22nd of December 2018 - 12:00 AM ]
A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week We are almost at the last week of video games of the year as we head towards Christmas and then New Years. Weirdly, this year did not seem to slow down as we made it to the end and we will all take that. From new things to look at for Devil May Cry 5 and Kingdom Hearts over to other updates for Control and Resident Evil it does not look like we are going to hit a wall here in 2018. At least in terms of video games that is. Read More…
