Review â Immortal Redneck
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 27th of February 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Immortal Redneck We sit down and review Immortal Redneck. This quirky game has made its way over to the PS4 and Xbox One now. Here is our review of Immortal Redneck Last year, some gamers out there had a chance to pick up and play Immortal Redneck when it launched on the PC. Here we are under a year later and the game is out there again with CremaGames bringing it on over to the consoles as well. Sadly, we missed out on Immortal Redneck the first time around but I guess that is why we are back with a review of the new-ish version of the game as it hops onto the PS4 and Xbox One. It is another roguelike title that may be added into your list for the low price of $19. Read More...

We Happy Few Has Been Further Delayed Until This Summer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 19th of January 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
We Happy Few It looks like We Happy Few has been pushed out a bit further but all of the content for We Happy Few has been complete and aiming for a full release The wait for We Happy Few continues as it looks like it has been pushed out further from its April 2018 release window. Now we can look to see the game land on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime this Summer. That is as long as Compulsion Games does not have any other issues or need to push the full release out even further. It has been a four-year ride with We Happy Few and it needs to come to a final end here soon. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 8th of January 2018 - 03:00 PM ]
The Station The first-person sci-fi mystery game, The Station, has been dated for the PS4 and you can see a bit more of The Station in action right here For those out there who enjoy mysteries and puzzle-solving while set in a futuristic space station, then you are in luck as The Station has been given a release date for the PS4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, and Linux platforms. That is of course if you all missed out on it from before and wanted to give it a good go, but that does not change the fact that you can give it a play on February 20th. Although, given the fact that there does not look to be many gameplay videos out there for The Station, this may be just what the game needed to get up and out there for gamers today. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 21st of December 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Psychonauts 2 It looks like Psychonauts 2 has been delayed a bit but we also get a nice look at some of the supporting cast being added into Psychonauts 2 If you were looking forward to seeing Psychonauts 2 in 2018 sometime, then let me be the one to tell you that your dream is going to be crushed. It looks like the game is going to be delayed until sometime outside of 2018 now as Double Fine has expanded not only their team for the game but also the scope. You can read that as they are making Psychonauts 2 bigger and better than we originally thought it would be. Read More...

Another Portal Game Is Kind Of Coming With Bridge Constructor Portal
by Duke Searles [ Wednesday, 6th of December 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Portal Get ready to use those Portal guns again as it looks like that franchise has crossed with another to bring us Bridge Constructor Portal It has been a while since we had anything truly new for the Portal franchise in terms of a full game. It is crazy to think that it has been six years since the last full entry into the IP and at most, we have had little links back and forth with characters, items, and Easter Eggs to entice us all a bit more. If you are like me, you are sitting there hoping for a full new title into the franchise, but for now we are going to have to sit and take games like what Headup Games has for us here. Now we have Bridge Constructor Portal to look at and get another taste of the IP through their other game's mechanics but with all the fun GlaDOS and Aperture bring to the world. Read More...

Jump For Joy As We Happy Few Gets Another Major Update & Area To Explore
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 31st of March 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
We Happy Few The second major update for We Happy Few has been released and this one adds in some requested items as well as adding to We Happy Few a new area to explore Great news for all of those gamers out there still enjoying We Happy Few. It looks like there is now even more to enjoy as a new major update for the game has been pushed out there that adds a whole new area to explore and quest on. Not only that, but some other great things have been added into the mix so that you can now stop pestering Compulsion Games for a bit so they can double down on making We Happy Few a final project and not an early access thing that we have right now. When you force the developers to look at things that could be left alone for now it only pushes the final launch out just that much further. Read More...

Psychonauts 2 Adds A Publisher To The List & Aims For A 2018 Release
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 6th of February 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Psychonauts 2 A new deal for Psychonauts 2 has been struck adding in a major publisher and setting the release window for Psychonauts 2 to 2018 at some point It looks like Psychonauts 2 could potentially be an even larger title than we thought as not only has it raised enough funds from the general gaming community, but now it looks like the game is getting another major bit of funding with a new publisher agreement. It has just been announced that Double Fine and Starbreeze have entered into an agreement to add $8 million USD to the funds to make Psychonauts 2 above and beyond what has already been raised on Fig. It doesn't look like this will alter any of the existing things set up through the crowd funding and investing site but it will allow for a larger budget and hopefully a bigger and better game in 2018. We Happy Few Gets A Major Update To Entice Us Even More While We Wait
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 8th of December 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
We Happy Few A new update to We Happy Few has been placed out there that fixes some of the current bugs & issues of We Happy Few during its early access phase Back in July the Early Access for We Happy Few went underway for a few of the platforms it will be heading to at some point. Maybe you bought in or maybe you didn't depending on your faith in Compulsion Games, but the option is still there and I know many, myself included, have had a blast with it so far. Yes it's had it bugs and issues but it is a game in progress and we are here to help shape We Happy Few into something we want to fully experience when all is said and done. At least I know I do. Sundered Has Been Announced And Test Your Sanity And Survival Skills
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 26th of September 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Sundered A new title, Sundered, has been announced and Sundered looks to bring back some of the great Metroid and Castlevania platforming to us all In the mix of all the larger titles that are being announced and shown off here as of late it is a bit refreshing to see a smaller title like Sundered get the full announcement and everything. This would be the follow up title from Thunder Lotus Games here that brings us back into the Metroid and Castlevania style of gameplay all with some amazing hand-drawn art. I'm not talking that Sundered has hand-drawn art here to look at in terms of concept but that the game is going to have that look and feel in the final game when it launches in 2017 for the PS4, Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms. Review â Mighty No. 9
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 3rd of August 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Mighty No. 9 We sit down and review Mighty No. 9. Some say it is a Mega Man rip-off and others just another Kickstarter title. Here's our review of Mighty No. 9 If there has been a game in recent history that has had one rocky development cycle it seems it would be Mighty No. 9. It was backed and funded with the quickness when comcept original brought the idea to market as many saw it to be the Mega Man title they have been waiting for. Then Deep Silver hopped in and made sure that development on Mighty No. 9 would be certain to make it to the end. Read More...

XCOM 2 Is Now Expanding Into The Console Territory
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 7th of June 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
XCOM 2 With the success of XCOM 2 on the PC platforms it looks like fans have finally been able to get XCOM 2 headed to the consoles this September We all wanted and demanded it and now it looks like Firaxis Games has given in and now we have XCOM 2 on its way to the major consoles as well. Of course they are not doing the work directly as 2K Games has brought on The Workshop to help usher the game over to the new platform but given their history that isn't a bad thing. Especially since now we can all keep an eye out to see XCOM 2 hit the PS4 and Xbox One on September 6th of this year. If you don't live in the North American region that date would be September 9th.
