Batman: The Telltale Series Gets Its First Episode On August 2nd
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 20th of July 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Batman A solid release date for Batman: The Telltale Series has been revealed and it looks like the first week of August is when Batman will be taking flight again Last week we were teased with when Batman: The Telltale Series would be coming to us in digital format but we were told that we would get to see a new trailer just in time for SDCC. As they are people of their words over at Telltale Games we now have a released date for the digital version of the game, August 2nd, and a trailer for the first episode of the game. Just the perfect time to bring us all Batman and now we know that we won't have to wait until we get home from the huge convention to give it a play. Read More...

Batman: The Telltale Series Has A Release Window Digitally & Date Physically
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 15th of July 2016 - 04:00 PM ]
Batman The release window for Batman: The Telltale Series digital has been revealed as well as when Batman will be getting a physical version from Warner Bros. As I assumed we would be seeing more of Batman: The Telltale Series as we got closer to SDCC and here we go. It isn't a trailer as Telltale Games has stated that they will be showing us that next week during the big event and when they do their play through of the first episode live. But for now it looks like we only have news that Batman is coming to the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, and mobile devices digitally sometime in August. I'm going to guess during the first week of August given their normal schedule. Read More...

Left 4 Dead 3 Might Have Just Been Revealed On Accident
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 30th of June 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
Left 4 Dead 3 We may be shown that Left 4 Dead 3 is coming to us sometime as Left 4 Dead 3 was spotted on an employee's computer in some way If rumors and speculation are true it looks like Left 4 Dead 3 may be on its way here in some time. That time is still up in the air if it is truly being worked on but as it looks an employee has been spotted over at Valve with a directory structure showing files that point to the game being in production. Of course this doesn't dictate that Left 4 Dead 3 is going to be a solid release here in the developer's portfolio but it does kind of lend to it being in the works. Especially given all of the other weirdness that happen to be going on along with this supposed leak of the game. Read More...

E3 2016 Impressions â Batman: The Telltale Series
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 15th of June 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
Batman While at E3 I was able to see Batman: The Telltale Series in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on Batman: The Telltale Series. A few reveals for Batman have already popped up here at E3 this year but of course that isn’t where the reveals were going to end. In fact in the middle of Wayne Manor here on the floor Telltale Games had a secret access to the Bat Cave and allowed some of us to see the first 30 minutes of the first episode of their take on the Batman franchise. That sounds like quite a bit to take in but thankfully it was just enough to keep the hype ball rolling as we wait for the episode to finally land sometime this Summer for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. Here’s what is new to the whole gameplay set up that we already know and love from the developer. Read More...

XCOM 2 Is Now Expanding Into The Console Territory
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 7th of June 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
XCOM 2 With the success of XCOM 2 on the PC platforms it looks like fans have finally been able to get XCOM 2 headed to the consoles this September We all wanted and demanded it and now it looks like Firaxis Games has given in and now we have XCOM 2 on its way to the major consoles as well. Of course they are not doing the work directly as 2K Games has brought on The Workshop to help usher the game over to the new platform but given their history that isn't a bad thing. Especially since now we can all keep an eye out to see XCOM 2 hit the PS4 and Xbox One on September 6th of this year. If you don't live in the North American region that date would be September 9th. Review â Homefront: The Revolution
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 26th of May 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Homefront We sit down and review Homefront: The Revolution. A reimagining of the franchise to make America great again. Here's our review of Homefront: The Revolution It's been a while coming but Homefront: The Revolution has released and we've been able to dive right into what Dambuster Studios has to offer us. It may not be what was originally in store for us back in the THQ days but since Deep Silver picked up the franchise and put the teams to work to reimagine the game we are in store for another fun ride in a fake historical timeline. It makes sense I swear. Read More...

7 Days To Die The release date for 7 Days To Die on the consoles has been set and we have a new interview with the brains behind 7 Days To Die in general It looks like the release date for 7 Days To Die on the PS4 and Xbox One has been set now and just as The Fun Pimps claimed it is coming at the end of June. In fact it looks like Telltale Publishing is bring the game on over on June 28th now so even more gamers out there can experience the fun. Review â The Magic Circle: Gold Edition
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of May 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
The Magic Circle We sit down and review The Magic Circle: Gold Edition. A game that tries to take us into the world of game design. Here's our review of The Magic Circle: Gold Edition Back in July of 2015 The Magic Circle first popped up on the indie scene for the major PC platforms. Flash-forward almost a year and now it looks like Question has been able to bring the game over to the PS4 so hopefully more gamers can give the game a go. We had a chance to give it a good go now that it has been ported over so without gilding the lily too much here is our review of The Magic Circle: Gold Edition. Their version that I am guessing they originally wanted to come out… Story The world of video game design is a fickle thing. Read More...

Here's The Other Side Of Homefront: The Revolution's Story
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 11th of May 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Homefront Another trailer for Homefront: The Revolution has been released and this one expands a bit further on Homefront's story but from a different point of view of sorts We are only mere days away from Homefront: The Revolution hitting our PS4, Xbox One, or PC and the hype train is still rolling. With that comes another story trailer that Dambuster Studios has put together for us to show off another side of the conflict. Not in terms of seeing what the "enemies" are thinking and doing, while that would be interesting, but more along the lines of how the "Voice Of Freedom" in Homefront is being perceived. Read More...

The iconic shooter from so long ago is getting another chance in the light thanks to Running With Scissors bringing the title back to PC and then to PS4. Until now there was no word other than the ambiguous Spring of 2016 for the Postal Redux release on PC. Thankfully now we can state that the game is launching via Steam on May 20th. Read More...

Here's Just How America Fell In Homefront: The Revolution
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 26th of April 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
Homefront The intro cinematic for Homefront: The Revolution has dropped online and it shows just how America fell in Homefront's skewed timeline If you were still not sure how the events of Homefront: The Revolution played out to where it is in its current state then know that we have yet another recap for you. We have a new trailer for the game from Dambuster Studios that shows just how skewed the timeline is going to be to allow the KPA to have taken down the American forces. It looks like Homefront is going to drastically different than the stated Red Dawn story that it had seemed to have taken from day one. Read More...

Change The Hearts & Minds Of Homefront: The Revolution's Populous
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 13th of April 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Homefront Another trailer for Homefront: The Revolution has been released and this time we get a better look at Homefront's Hearts And Minds mechanic that was teased before During the last trailer for Homefront: The Revolution we caught wind of one of the game's mechanics, Hearts and Minds, but never really received a solid explanation on how it works. It was more of a footnote in the video by Dambuster Studios on how the combat and tactics of the game will be used in the game. It is almost like Deep Silver is releasing the videos for Homefront here while introducing the mechanics or features for the next video coming. Read More...

7 Days To Die Coming To Consoles From Telltale Publishing
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 7th of April 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
7 Days To Die 7 Days To Die is making its way over to the consoles this June from Telltale and it looks like 7 Days To Die is the start of a new program from the publisher Looks like another blast from the past game, 7 Days To Die, is going to be heading to the PS4 and Xbox One here. This would be the Survival Horde Crafting title that was built by indie developer The Fun Pimps that only saw the light of day on the PC, Mac, and Linux platforms. Telltale Publishing couldn't have that be so now they are bringing 7 Days To Die to a bigger audience to help destroy the current sales of 1.5 million gamers to most likely a whole lot more. Review â Binaries
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Monday, 4th of April 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Binaries We sit down and review Binaries. It's a quirky little platformer of sorts from another small developer. Here's our review of Binaries Binaries is the world’s first concentration-platform game developed by Ant Workshop. This is the Scotland based developers first project. Lead developer Tony Gowland has been a game designer for over fourteen years, and has quite the list of accomplishments along with Will Morton who has many accomplishments to his name as well. I found this game to be a love hate relationship. I would power through levels and get angrier with each death. Read More...

It Is Time To Ignite The Revolution In Homefront: The Revolution
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 30th of March 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Homefront A new trailer for Homefront: The Revolution has surfaced with a bit more of the story and tone for Homefront even though it feels a lot like stories of the past Here we go with yet another trailer for Homefront: The Revolution and this one is quite explosive. Literally here as it has been jam packed with all kinds of in-game footage from Dambuster Studios to show off just how poorly Philadelphia has fallen in the game's world. This of course is something that anyone who has kept their eyes on Homefront since the franchise popped up would know to be is "not good." If it was good then we wouldn't have much of a game and Deep Silver wouldn't be looking to get much back from us when it launches on May 17th. Read More...
