Observer Gets Even More Cyberpunk As Rutger Hauer Hacks Those Nightmares
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of August 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Observer Another new trailer for Observer has dropped and this one makes it know that Observer's story & gameplay will be led by a Cyberpunk legend Cyberpunk seems to be making a huge resurgence lately and Observer looks to be one of the titles that is helping all of this along. At least if it is all done well and Bloober Team delivers again on their horror skills. That and the upcoming Blade Runner 2049 doesn't sour a lot of people. Seeing as Observer is now launching on August 15th for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One it seems more weight will be placed there now among a few other titles out there. Read More...

Observer Is Bringing The Hidden Horror & Catharsis 2.0
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 26th of June 2017 - 01:00 PM ]
Observer New gameplay for Observer from E3 has been released along with a description of how Observer is building its own sub-horror genre It looks like I missed out on Observer yet again at E3 this year, but it was only a miss by a little bit and I have recovered from it all. That is due to the fact that Bloober Team has released the gameplay that they were showing off out there at the expo, but also given the commentary as to what the end goal for the game is. Yes, Observer is another horror game set in a Cyberpunk setting, but it is using what they are calling Hidden Horror to drive the game forward instead of the high-action or pure gore that many other title rely on. Not that there is an issue with those titles, but this is not the game that we will see soon on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One this year. Read More...

Review â Layers Of Fear: Inheritance
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 26th of August 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Layers Of Fear We Sit Down And Review Layers Of Fear: Inheritance. We have a new bit of story DLC for a great horror game now. Here's Our Review Of Layers Of Fear: Inheritance Almost a year ago we were all introduced to a full version of Layers Of Fear and some of us regained a love for fear and horror. If not then, then when Bloober Team and Aspyr Media released the game on the PS4 and Xbox One earlier this year. It was fun and had some great jumps to it all but I know I was left wanting more. Can The Child Mind Change Some Horrors In Layers Of Fear: Inheritance
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 28th of July 2016 - 01:00 PM ]
Layers Of Fear The launch trailer for Layers Of Fear: Inheritance has been released just before launch and it sounds like we may be able to alter Layers Of Fear through the eyes of a child Next week we get to head back into the world of Layers Of Fear as the new DLC expansion lands on August 2th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. This would be the bit of story for the game that has won the hearts of many for Bloober Team where we get to take on the role of the deranged artist's daughter and head back into the house. At least that is the story for Layers Of Fear: Inheritance as the original story was just us playing through as the artist himself and trying to make heads and tails of what was going on. Layers Of Fear More visuals for Layers Of Fear: Inheritance have been released as we delve deeper into Layers Of Fear's protagonist’s daughter Only a few weeks ago did we catch wind that Layers Of Fear: Inheritance was coming as a nice little DLC for the original horror title from Bloober Team. It is slated for an August 2nd release for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC still but it looks like Aspyr Media has some new screen shots for us to look at and see how we are going to dig into the Artist's daughter's psyche in the game. That is what this little bit of Layers Of Fear DLC is going to be all about and it looks like another fun and creepy addition into the realm. Read More...

Time To Claim Your Inheritance As Layers Of Fear Gets Story DLC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 1st of July 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Layers Of Fear A new Layers Of Fear experience is upon us as we have the first bit of DLC called Layers Of Fear: Inheritance that will expand more on the original story If you didn't get enough Layers Of Fear back when it first launched and then came to consoles, then it looks like good news is coming for you. It turns out that Bloober Team and Aspyr Media have been working on a bit of DLC for the game and it adds a whole new story into the mix. Yes, we are getting more story for the game as Layers Of Fear: Inheritance is coming this August for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC version of the game and it aims to expand more on the overall story as well as give us a little closure on things…maybe… All we have as of now is that Layers Of Fear: Inheritance will be continuing the story of the original game only that this time it will be from the perspective of the protagonist's daughter. Observer Is A New Cyberpunk Horror Title Coming To Haunt Our Dreams
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 24th of June 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
Observer Another new title, Observer, was announced during E3 and we have some gameplay for Observer to look upon and get ready for the fear It's games like Observer that make me want to see E3 get spread over a few more days than the short few that we do get. You may or may not have heard of its announcement during the PC Gaming show but here we go with the next major title out of Bloober Team. They would be known the best for Layers Of Fear; another horror title set in a specific timeline but here we go into s cyberpunk setting for Observer. They knocked it out the park before but can they catch lightning in a bottle again with their horror? Read More...

Review â Layers Of Fear
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 19th of February 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
Layers Of Fear We Sit Down And Review Layers Of Fear. It's been labeled as one of the scariest games in a while but is that true? Here's Our Review Of Layers Of Fear Last year some of the bold gave Layers Of Fear a chance as it hit Steam in way of an Early Access. Usually these don't amount to much and given the failure that Bloober Team suffered not long before that with Basement Crawl not many people wanted to go through the horror of another terrible game. Then it was shown to have some great promise and Aspyr Media chose to foot the bill and give the developer another chance at greatness. It has since been claimed to be like other great horror titles out there but did they hit the mark with Layers Of Fear or is it just another jump scare into mediocrity? Read More...

Layers Of Fear Could Be Holding Something Even Darker Than Thought
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 16th of February 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Layers Of Fear Another trailer for Layers Of Fear has been released and it shows more gameplay but also that Layers Of Fear might house something much darker than we thought Layers Of Fear has finally made it into its final form and the "magnum opus" that Bloober Team has been working on is available for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It's been labeled as one of the scariest horror titles to date and getting some mixed reviews but could there be more than a lot of us who haven't dug in too deep to expect? The most recent trailer for Layers Of Fear that has been released by Aspyr Media kind of points in that direction as the layers keep coming. Read More...

New Gameplay For Layers Of Fear To Add To The Horror
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 10th of February 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Layers Of Fear Another trailer for Layers Of Fear has been released and it shows off how Layers Of Fear is going to look when running on the PS4 and driving us mad A lot of buzz has been going around as of late for Layers Of Fear and the nightmares it looks to bring us all. The buzz should be going abound as Bloober Team still has us set to enter this horror title on February 16th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Between the early access stuff and the insane press kits that have made the circulations it looks like they are going the extra mile for Layers Of Fear. It needs to be done to make up for the last flop that they had and it looks like a lot has been learned from it. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 21st of January 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Layers Of Fear Horror title Layers Of Fear is finally coming out in full form and we can add another platform that Layers Of Fear will be releasing on Layers Of Fear has been out in a non-full form for a while now. During its stint on Steam and later on the Xbox One the latest title from Bloober Team has been getting some rave reviews and has been overwhelmingly well received. Surprising and awesome as Layers Of Fear still isn't in its final form. Thankfully it looks like that form will be coming on February 16th for said platforms as well as the PS4 now. Read More...

Brawl Has An Update From Bloober Teamâ¦With Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 24th of December 2014 - 03:05 PM ]
Brawl, the re-built Basement Crawl, has an updated trailer for us to show how the developer has improved the PS4 title outside of changing the name Remember Basement Crawl from earlier this year? The creepy take on Bomberman… No? Well that makes sense as it was a title so poorly built that the developer Bloober Team asked everyone not to review it until the issues were fixed. Then the game was scrapped and re-branded as Brawl. Sounds more or less like they just shortened the title to combine the original title just as this version of the game contains the same core gameplay of Basement Crawl. Read More...

Basement Crawl Is Finally Crawling Out With A New Release Date
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 21st of February 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Basement Crawl has a new release date and a few new screen shots to make up for the previously missed date. Last month I reported on the release date for Basement Crawl. Originally it was slated for a release at the end of January. Well January came and went and still we PS4 owners do not see Basement Crawl available for download. I've seen the ads but nothing to purchase. Well there is an answer for that. Read More...

Very little has been known about Basement Crawl, but now it looks like we finally have a release date and a bit of gameplay to look at. If you have been tracking Basement Crawl up until now, you'd know it to be a creepy looking version of Bomberman. At least of sorts. We've had the announcement trailer and a few screens with descriptions, but no real gameplay to show off. Well wait no longer as we have a nice little bit of gameplay to show off below. Let's watch. Basement Crawl Is Shaping Up To Be The Creepiest 'Bomberman'
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 13th of January 2014 - 06:52 PM ]
Basement Crawl, the new title coming to the PS4 is on the edge of release…so let's have some new screenshots. Back during Halloween I brought you a look at Basement Crawl. I also had a bit of fun speculating on what the game was all about outside of being a creepy looking PS4 title. If you're eyes haven't already betrayed me an ventured below to look at the new screenshots, then let me inform you that we have five new shots that help show off how Basement Crawl is like a creepy version of Bomberman in sorts. Not only that, but it kind of looks like my fun speculation is a little on par. At least as it goes with the trying to kill each other in a creepy basement. Read More...
