Gang Beasts Has Been Given A Full Release Date
by Jana Lass [ Tuesday, 28th of November 2017 - 03:00 PM ]
Gang Beasts The full release date for Gang Beasts has been set and we can see Gang Beasts hitting Steam on PC and PS4 early this December It looks like we are getting another game added into the mix to keep our holiday spirits up as Gang Beasts is hitting the PS4 and coming out of Early Access on Steam this December 12th. It looks like fans of the game so far can expect to dive into Beef City properly soon and take to the multiple modes of the game that Boneloaf and Double Fine have prepped for us all. If the early play and videos for Gang Beasts are any indication it looks like we can supplant those awkward family feuds and fights into this silly multiplayer game where we are hurting only the gelatinous characters we have dressed up instead of your siblings. Psychonauts 2 Adds A Publisher To The List & Aims For A 2018 Release
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 6th of February 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Psychonauts 2 A new deal for Psychonauts 2 has been struck adding in a major publisher and setting the release window for Psychonauts 2 to 2018 at some point It looks like Psychonauts 2 could potentially be an even larger title than we thought as not only has it raised enough funds from the general gaming community, but now it looks like the game is getting another major bit of funding with a new publisher agreement. It has just been announced that Double Fine and Starbreeze have entered into an agreement to add $8 million USD to the funds to make Psychonauts 2 above and beyond what has already been raised on Fig. It doesn't look like this will alter any of the existing things set up through the crowd funding and investing site but it will allow for a larger budget and hopefully a bigger and better game in 2018. Have A Taste Of Psychonauts 2's Story Right From The Source
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 13th of January 2016 - 03:00 PM ]
Psychonauts 2 The overall story for Psychonauts 2 was discussed and it looks like fans of the franchise will have some great things in Psychonauts 2 based on the descriptions With Psychonauts 2 just getting funded and the campaign ending so recent I figured it would be a bit of time before we had more about the game. Especially when it came to things like story. Thankfully though it looks like the head of Double Fine was already on the ball and looking to do Psychonauts 2 for some time now and also was planning well ahead. Read More...

Costume Quest Makes That Transformers Costume Real
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 13th of August 2010 - 03:06 PM ]
While it is not a game with a great overall concept like Brütal Legend, Costume Quest is just about what we have come to expect from Tim Schafer's studio Double Fine. Oh wait, you don't know what Costume Quest is? Let me give you the run down. Costume Quest is a rollicking Adventure/Role-Playing game that unfolds on Halloween night across seemingly peaceful suburban neighborhoods, a mysterious village carnival, and a monster-infested shopping mall. Created by Double Fine's lead animator, Tasha Harris, the game follows the adventure of a group of young friends who must rid their neighborhood of monsters using only their wits, their bravery, and their home-made costumes. Players go door-to-door collecting candy, points, cards, battle stamps and quest assignments as they prepare themselves for Combat Mode-where they transform into larger-than-life versions of their costumes. I can't wait to play them in Rock Band," Tim Schafer said "I've air-drummed to all of them so many times, I'm sure I'll be able to beat them on hard mode, no problem. Read More...

Brütal Mültiplayer Ãnleashed
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 2nd of October 2009 - 12:12 PM ]
So by now there should be 66,600,000 consoles world wide that have downloaded the Brütal Legend demo. Well at least was the hopes of the marketing team behind the game. The demo being a nice little snippet of the beginning of the game's single player mode and story. It is fun. It makes you want the game even more while melting your face. But the whole game was originally a multiplayer game in concept. In fact, according to the developers, it was built as a multiplayer RTS-like game and the story mode was built from that to flesh things out. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 15th of September 2009 - 06:19 PM ]
So I'll be honest and tell you that I have yet to watch the video below. In fact, I refuse to watch it. But that shouldn't stop me from letting other people who want to watch it from enjoying it. In case you haven't skipped my words yet and just clicked play, the video below is the first 5 minutes and 46 seconds of what you can expect to be at the beginning of Brütal Legend. The opening cinematic to be exact. Why have I not watched this clip yet? Read More...

Hope He Hasn't Been Slaying Hot Girls
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 4th of May 2009 - 04:56 PM ]
Brütal Legend Official Trailer Even though it is still about 5 months out, the PR train is starting off for EA's Jack Black video game. Well it's not really his game, but you can't sit there and watch the trailer or anything else for this game and not tell me the main character wasn't written to have Mr. Black voice and be modeled after. I'd go close to saying it is the closest to a Tenacious D video game that will ever be made. Read More...
