Square Enix Is Bringing All Kinds Of Tomb Raider & Kingdom Hearts Fun To SDCC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 17th of July 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
Square Enix Not to be left out of SDCC, Square Enix is bringing all kinds of games and events to make sure you have been able to experience all Square Enix has to offer Just as the many year's past, Square Enix will be back at SDCC this year and bringing with them all of the games that we have been keeping an eye on and hoping to play sooner rather than later. Sadly, it does not look like they are bringing much in the way of Final Fantasy, but they are truly pushing Shadow Of The Tomb Raider and Kingdom Hearts III just as they did out at E3. Not the biggest of surprises given the proximity to the release dates and SDCC being a huge fan event for Square Enix to get the games in front of more eyes than just through other people's thoughts and opinions. E3 Hands On â Shadow Of The Tomb Raider
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 18th of June 2018 - 03:00 PM ]
Tomb Raider While at E3, I was able to see Shadow Of The Tomb Raider in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here is my take on Shadow Of The Tomb Raider. With Shadow Of The Tomb Raider not that far off from release, September 14th as a reminder, it was expected to see the game have a huge showing out at E3 this year and Square Enix did not let us down. There was a great showing during their huge press event the day before E3 kicked off, but also had a nice long demo for fans to play that Eidos-Montréal had put together just for the show. It was a nice subsection of the core game and let the world see what was coming to Shadow Of The Tomb Raider as well as show how the gameplay has shifted a bit. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Holly Hells, it has been a huge week in video games as E3 has now come and gone. Shadow Of The Tomb Raider Is Back With More Gameplay From E3 2018
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of June 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
Tomb Raider The first gameplay for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider is here now and we get to see how the franchise has evolved from the last Tomb Raider title We have been good and waited until this year's E3 to finally see Shadow Of The Tomb Raider in motion. At least in terms of gameplay. Since it has been known that Eidos-Montréal will have the game ready for us on September 14th, it was a given that we would get to see it during Square Enix's media event this year and then again on the show floor. They could have kept all of that under wraps until the release date, but that is just not how all of this marketing thing goes to make sure we are pre-ordering and ready for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider. I guess that is good for all of us who have been dying to see just what is in store for us with the game. Read More...

Lara Is Ever Evolving To The Point In Shadow Of The Tomb Raider
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 16th of May 2018 - 03:00 PM ]
Tomb Raider A new developer interview for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider is here and it takes us through the evolution of Lara from the reboot of the Tomb Raider franchise to now I know we are all waiting for another big update for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider as all we have had since its first leak has been a nice looking CG trailer for the game. It showed us what Eidos-Montréal was aiming for, sure, but it did not give us any actual gameplay or too many details for the game. I have a feeling this was to hold off until Square Enix's big E3 showing that is planned but to give us all a taste. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of May 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week One more week of video games in the bag yet again. It was a rough week for us here but we still managed to get all kinds of news and updates out to you for our great hobby. Shadow Of The Tomb Raider Is Getting Some Help For The PC Version
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 30th of April 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Tomb Raider A new partnership is here for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider and it will make sure that PC gamers have the best experience they can have for the upcoming Tomb Raider title We may have just had the first semi-showing of Shadow Of The Tomb Raider last week, but here we are yet again to have a bit of information we did not get last week. It is nothing in terms of story, new gameplay, or even a direct look at the game from Square Enix. Sad, I know. Read More...

Shadow Of The Tomb Raider Is Revealed & Gets A Littler Darker
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 27th of April 2018 - 03:00 PM ]
Tomb Raider The reveal trailer for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider is here and it looks like we are going to see a darker Tomb Raider with this one The day is here and we now have the first real reveal for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider to get us all amped for. Sure the game was officially announced by Eidos-Montréal a while back, but this is the first video reveal that Square Enix has for the public. I state it that way as it is only a pre-rendered video we have for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider while select few in a few select locations have had the true chance to give the current version of the game a whole. Given that it is still slated to release on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on September 14th it would be a bit safe to assume it is in a decent place to get a good preview. Read More...

Shadow Of The Tomb Raider Is Officially Announced & Coming This Year
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of March 2018 - 01:00 PM ]
Tomb Raider Just in time for the new Tomb Raider film to hit theaters, Shadow Of The Tomb Raider has been officially announced and coming this year for all platforms It looks like we can put most of the rumors to rest as Shadow Of The Tomb Raider has been officially announced and let loose on the world. At least in the most teaser of ways as Eidos-Montréal and Square Enix are still holding off on the full reveal of the game until April 27th. They still needed to work with the hype of the new Tomb Raider film, so it makes sense that they would make this announcement now and not wait until the film is no longer anywhere out there. Review â Rise Of The Tomb Raider [PS4]
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of November 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Tomb Raider We sit down and review Rise Of The Tomb Raider. It has finally made it over to the PS4 with all its DLC. Here's our review of Rise Of The Tomb Raider It's been a year and a bunch of DLC packs since Rise Of The Tomb Raider launched on the Xbox One and then the PC. Now we have the game here on the PS4 with all of its DLC and upgrades that have been applied over that year in the form of Crystal Dynamics' definitive edition as it were. It may not have that title but with everything packaged here it surely feels that way. None the less, Square Enix wanted us to join in the twenty year celebration and here we are with our review of Rise Of The Tomb Raider. Read More...

Rise Of The Tomb Raider Gets More Woman Vs Wild For The New Release
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 15th of September 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Tomb Raider Another episode of Rise Of The Tomb Raider's Woman Vs Wild has been released and shows us how the new Rise Of The Tomb Raider DLC could play out It's been some time since we last saw Rise Of The Tomb Raider's Woman Vs Wild video series out there. I don't think we've seen a new one since Crystal Dynamics released the game on the Xbox One and Xbox 360. Now that Square Enix is bringing Rise Of The Tomb Raider to the PS4 and the DLC to all of the platforms, including PC, here on October 11th I guess it is about time to give us yet another episode of their "behind the scenes" style video. It makes perfect sense and now we have it right here for all of our viewing pleasures. Read More...
