Microsoft has released the first public beta version of Internet Explorer 8,
the next version of their web browser. This release is primarily for
web developers; others may want to hold off. This first beta release
adds several features beyond what is available in IE 7, many of them
"borrowed" from rival browsers like Firefox and Safari.
