Hogwarts Legacy
The Dark Arts are on display for Hogwarts Legacy as we gear up to pick up the Hogwarts Legacy Collector’s Edition
Things are starting to get a bit dark for Hogwarts Legacy here with the latest look that we have at the game out of Gamescom this year. It is a bit more of the game's story but also how Avalanche Software will be giving us some rough choices as we dive into the fun of it all. As long as Hogwarts Legacy is not delayed any further from the February 10th, 2023 release date we have for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. I do not think that will happen but we will certainly be getting to see a bit more of these choices to help us get fully ready for what is about to go down with the game.
Here we get to see how the Dark Arts will play into the world of Hogwarts Legacy and if we so choose to go down that path for our casting. It is weird to hear that we can either learn the unforgivable spell or have it cast upon us in the game, which is not really a choice, but I am sure there is a reason. Especially since it looks like it is not something being forced upon us by someone that is just being evil, but someone that is using it all to their advantage when they should not be. It will most likely make more sense when we get to play Hogwarts Legacy, but you can see just about what I am talking about a little lower down the page here. Have a look and prepare to take on some of the undead and arachnids out there.
Hogwarts Legacy — Sebastian Sallow’s Dark Legacy
Should you choose to befriend Slytherin student Sebastian Sallow, you will be faced with the decision to embrace or reject the Dark Arts as you uncover his family’s mystery through his companion quest line.
Will you choose to learn this dark magic?
Focusing on one of Hogwarts Legacy’s optional companion quest lines with Sebastian Sallow, the Dark Legacy trailer provides a glimpse at the forbidden curses and difficult dilemmas players will face as they learn more about the Sallow family’s mystery and decide whether to engage with, or even embrace, the dark arts.
If you are ready to dive into Hogwarts Legacy and secure your place in the world out there, you can now preorder the game and pick up the Collector's Edition of the game too. It is something that will have all forms of digital goodies for the game, but also a fun little floating wand and book to go along with it. It sounds a little off, but you can see it unboxed in the following video we have. There are a few other physical goods to come along with this version of Hogwarts Legacy. It is a pretty cool-looking thing, even if you have to plug it in and keep it in a location that will be able to keep that safe too. That might be the only thing that might be a hindrance to picking it all up.

Will you be going with the Dark Arts in Hogwarts Legacy or will you be closer to one of the other houses and styles of magic instead? Will we always have to have the spells cast up on us in the game or is that just how this instructor will be going about it all? Do you like the look of the collector's edition here or is that a little much for you to justify having in your home? Give us all of your thoughts on this down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all if you so wish. We will have much more for Hogwarts Legacy, so please keep checking back in for all of that and much more. There is going to be a whole lot more for sure.
