Stray Is Finally Coming Home With An Official Release Date

Stray

The release date for Stray is now set down so we can look forward to helping our little Stray survive the world

It has been such a long wait since Stray took the gaming community by storm with a basic announcement that ties into the basic of the internet. Those basics being the cyberpunk setting in general and cats. I have a feeling that BlueTwelve Studio and Annapurna Interactive had all of this in mind for the game when announced to cause all of the buzz. Buzz that has carried us all until now with the announcement that Stray will be hitting the PS4, PS5, and PC on July 19th now. Yes, you now have a date to look at for this stealth game that will have us playing as a cyber-kitty in a dark and future world.

While it is nice to know when we will get to experience Stray, it is also nice to be able to see a bit more of it in motion. That is what the next gameplay trailer is here for, but it does not show anything much that we have not seen before now. Mostly, it is the new release date to take note of. What is not shown here for Stray is the fact that those that have the higher tiers of PlayStation+ will be given the game for free at launch. So as long as you are opting to pay for something more than the base version, all you will have to do is download the game and then see how the life of this kitten will play out. Everyone else will just have to pay full price for it all on July 19th. Now you have just one more reason to shell out a little more for the service.

Stray — Release Date

Stray is coming to PS5, PS4, and Steam on July 19. Add it to your PlayStation wishlist now.

Lost, alone, and separated from family, a stray cat must untangle an ancient mystery to escape a long-forgotten cybercity and find their way home.

How long have you been waiting to get your hands on Stray before now and will the next month be too long to wait? Do you think there will be much more on the stealth gameplay down the line or will it be hidden until we get the game's full launch? Do you find it odd that it will not be offered up for all PlayStation+ members or will it just be one additional title for those that pay a little more? Feel free to give us all of those thoughts and feelings on this down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all if you so wish. When we have more to share for Stray, know it will be here. Please keep checking back for all of that and much, much more. I am certain you will not be let down at all.
