Ghostwire
Ghostwire: Tokyo is dropping a new prelude chapter out there to get us all amped up for Ghostwire: Tokyo’s release
It looks as if we are going to get a little more of a taste for Ghostwire: Tokyo earlier than we thought. The game is still hitting the PS4, PS5, and PC on March 25th or 22nd for those that pre-order, but right now you can get a little helping of what Tango Gameworks has cooked up. Those looking to see what Ghostwire: Tokyo is all about can head out there and download the prelude chapter for the game on the consoles and give it all a go. The PC will have the option to do this too, but you will have to wait until March 8th to actually play it for yourself. That is still quite a bit before the launch of it all, so you cannot scoff at it too much.
While none of that is something to scoff at, here is where some of that might be coming in for Ghostwire: Tokyo. This is a prelude visual novel that we get to experience and nothing with the actual action-focused gameplay that we will get when the game does finally launch out there. A little bit of a teaser as to what will be going on in the story for Ghostwire: Tokyo, sure, but nothing that seems like it will have us out in the mix doing all of the faster-paced stuff. Maybe that is a bit of the goal here given that it does sound like the game will be heavy on the lore, but it also feels like an odd choice to give a visual novel for an action game. Thankfully, it is all free outside of the time needed to complete. That should make it all worth it for now.
