Endzone: A World Apart Will Have Us All Survive On Consoles Soon

Endzone

A console release for Endzone: A World Apart is on the way to get more gamers into the mix of Endzone

It felt like it was only a matter of time, but now we have Endzone: A World Apart on its way over to the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S now. Well, not now, we need to wait until May 19th but it is coming. Just a bit of a wait after Gentlymad Studios brought it to the PC and offered up all of the DLC too. Now we will see more gamers into the Endzone to try to survive all of the horrors of the new world after war and nuclear meltdowns have brought the world all to its knees. It feels like a little on-point right now, but that is a topic for a different day. We will just focus on the game hitting the consoles and what that will offer up to the world instead.

In addition to Endzone coming to the next-gen consoles, it looks like we will have a few new things in the mix too. There will be a few new challenges in the mix for the consoles that the PC gamers will have to wait to get. This is beyond what is already in the game that has the expansions and other updates we have had since launch. My guess is that this is all going to be in part to how things have been altered to get Endzone: A World Apart on the consoles and maybe these will just be there to highlight some of these changes. We will all know in just a few months as long as life does not try to emulate the art that we have coming now. Fingers are all crossed for now.

Endzone: A World Apart — Survivor Edition Console Announcement

☢️ Coming May 19th, 2022 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S! ☢️

Assemble Entertainment and developer Gentlymad Studios are delighted to announce the critically acclaimed post-apocalyptic city builder Endzone: A World Apart will receive a current-generation console launch on May 19, 2022, titled, Endzone: A World Apart: Survivor Edition. Coming to Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, Endzone: A World Apart: Survivor Edition includes the base game and the first DLC chapter titled “Prosperity.”

After 150 years underground and hidden away from the poisonous surface, the last remaining human survivors of a nuclear apocalypse emerged ready and willing to take back the planet. Of course, starting from scratch isn’t a walk in the park, and the remnants of humanity faced many challenges attempting to reboot society — toxic rain, violent sandstorms, and the ever-present threat of radiation, to name but a few. However, thanks to the grit and determination of the human spirit, things are finally looking up for the survivors, and after the struggle comes boundless “Prosperity”! The upcoming update will introduce new materials, new buildings, new challenges, and new adventures to a fresh group of survivors, ready to expand and improve on what their forebears proudly built.
