Sam & Max
The PSVR release for Sam & Max: This Time It’s Virtual! is almost here to give us all more Sam & Max in our life
It may be out there for the PC VR systems right now, but it looks like Sam & Max: This Time It’s Virtual! is now on the way to the PSVR here soon. Like, very soon. As in that HappyGiant and Big Sugar are ready to drop it for the PS4 and PS5 gamers out there on February 23rd. Those console gamers that have embraced the technology will soon have more Sam & Max in their lives. It also seems like it could be a good time to let them in and see what the hype over the years have been all about. There has been a long ride for those just now getting in to it all.
To go along with this new release date, we have a little more of Sam & Max to look at for this version and some of the other gameplay we can expect. Sure, you could have been watching all of the other gameplay out there before now, but we have it all compacted right here. We get some shooting, some climbing, some flying, and of course all of the humor that Sam & Max always mix right into it all. Have a look and get amped up for it all to drop on the console next week. It looks like it will be one more good time with the two and the world that we have presented for us all.
Sam & Max: This Time It’s Virtual! — Release Trailer
PSVR - Feb 23
Sam is a dog with a hat. Max is a hyperkinetic naked rabbity thing. Together, they’re the Freelance Police, the intergalactically famous agents of indiscriminately applied justice, now starring in their umpteenth video game, Sam & Max: This Time It’s Virtual!
Even multimedia evil-slappers like Sam & Max could use a hand, and this time they’re using the incomprehensible magic of virtual reality to invite the player into their off-kilter world for a furious day of monster-slaying, obstacle courses, responsibly discharged firearms, and, of course, saving the entire freaking world.

Have you been a fan of Sam & Max for a while now or will this be your first step in for it all? Do you think it is odd to have such a wait for it to hit this platform or does it make sense to have the PC versions well before the consoles still? Do you think we will see it all flourish well and get more titles or have they hit the mark for now and we could see the IP fizzle out? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all. More for Sam & Max: This Time It’s Virtual! should be on the way, so keep a close eye on the site for all of that and more.
