Gear Up For Some Love Out There From Wanted: Dead

Wanted

Wanted: Dead has a new Valentine's Day trailer to make us all feel a bit more wanted

As another of the non-holidays roll out there, it looks as if the developers behind Wanted: Dead have opted to take advantage and show us all a little bit of love. Not in the way of telling us when the game will be hitting the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, or PC, but in the way that 110 Industries is giving us something new to look at. All with a little bit of combat, action, and getting to know the team we will be fighting alongside in Wanted: Dead. That cyberpunk version of Hong Kong does need a solid crew to make sure all of the streets are clean and ready for the new love to flourish, does it not?

All in all, it does not offer up too much more for Wanted: Dead and we do get to see how some of the team will be a bit on the garbage human side of things, but I think that is going to be part of the point in the end. When we have a game that is all about the flashy third-person killing and a limb severing system that is top-notch, it is hard to think that there will be much in the way of a redeemable character. Thankfully, that is not the goal of Wanted: Dead and what we have looks like it will be a bloody good time. Have a gander at the latest little bit of it all just a bit lower down and see just what I am talking about. I know it has me a little more excited for the game than this "love" thing everyone is all about on this day.

Wanted: Dead — Valentine’s Day

This Valentine’s Day, 110 Industries comes bearing the appropriately red-hued gift that is the bloody new Wanted: Dead Valentine’s Day trailer. The trailer treats us to a closer look at the game’s stylish high-octane combat, complete with spectacular John Wick-esque style finishers and slick, limb-severing swordplay.

Developed by Japanese studio Soleil, Wanted: Dead blends melee sword combat, exciting gunplay, and a unique limb severing system to deliver a deep action title inspired by the mechanically rich combat systems found in titles like Devil May Cry, Bayonetta, and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.

Players take on the role of Lt. Hannah Stone, stepping into a dark and dangerous vision of cyberpunk Hong Kong as leader of the “Zombie Squad”, an elite team who work outside the purview of the traditional police force. You will fall in love with Stone’s elite combat skills that combine style and substance, delivering cool slow-motion sequences, the ability to issue orders to teammates, and a limb severing mechanic that changes enemy attack patterns.

Your date with Wanted: Dead this Valentine's Day will make a stop at the Atomic Heart diner. Offering a change of pace to the game’s adrenaline-pumping combat, the diner offers a place for Lt. Stone to chill as she consumes food and drinks for buffs that will help her on her deadly missions while giving us players the chance to get to know the eccentric cast of characters that comprise her team.

How are you feeling about Wanted: Dead here and do you find a similar feeling as I? Do you think that these characters are being written in this specific way for a reason and will they have any kind of redemption over time? Are you here just for the limb slicing and the blood we will have with nothing more drawing you in? Let us all know what is on your mind just a bit lower down and then feel free to discuss it all. As more for Wanted: Dead flows out there, we will update the site with it all. Please keep checking in for all of that and everything else that we will have as we lead up to the final release of it all.
