War Hospital
A new cinematic trailer for War Hospital is here to give us one more look at how bleak War Hospital might be at launch
War is always claimed to be hell on humanity and we get many games out there that try to remind us all of that. War Hospital is another one of those titles that is doing the same and from the looks of it, it is taking things in a vastly different direction than most are used to. This one is a survival game from Brave Lamb Studio where we will need to be in charge of one of those hospitals tending to all of the horrors the soldiers have been through. If that does not sound too bleak on things out there, then we have a look at a new cinematic for War Hospital that sets some of that tone a bit more as we wait for the game to launch on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC later this year.
The following does not show much in the way of the gameplay for War Hospital, but it offers up a look at what could be going on within the tents out there. Some of it is due to the injuries sustained that we will need to be patching up in the game, but also a look at some of the older medical equipment that was used to do the same thing. Some of which look to be a bit barbaric from the modern standards we use today. I am curious to see how deep all of that goes in War Hospital, but for now, we have a new video to look at as we wait for Q4 to roll in and deliver the title to us all. Thankfully, it is not too graphic for those who might be a bit more squeamish than others.
War Hospital — Cinematic
In this new cinematic, you face the harsh reality of war, where every choice is a dramatic dilemma. In his noble mission as a doctor, he must choose the best way to treat the war wounds of the soldiers, by managing the means at his disposal. Most of these decisions have immediate consequences for the wounded, although he cannot always anticipate the terrible events that mark the daily life of the trenches. Beyond the care of the wounded, the player must make difficult decisions that impact the morale of his personnel, the availability of his resources, and sometimes even the course of history.
Thanks to the support of the British Imperial War Museums who assist the developers, the game faithfully represents the context of the front, the trenches and gives access to real medical equipment available at that time.
War Hospital is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2022 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
