The Spice Is Going To Flow Out There In Dune: Spice Wars

Dune

More Dune is on the way with the latest RTS title coming out there by the way of Dune: Spice Wars

With all of the success and fandom behind the IP, it would be weird to not get a title in the Dune IP out there. Not to mention that we had the announcement one was coming from Shiro Games and Funcom at some point out there. Fresh out of The Game Awards this year, though, we finally have our first showing of the game. Dune: Spice Wars is on the way to our PC in the next year now and we will need to put all of our RTS skills to work to make sure we are the one in full control of the spice out there. It is what everyone is always fighting over in the universe here, so it makes full sense this would be the case in the video game form.

The trailer we were given to announce Dune: Spice Wars does not offer up too much as to what is going on in the game and what the actual gameplay will look like. There is a cinematic look at how things could look out there, but as we get ready to take on the four players out there in the game, we have a little more to look at here. Some screenshots that show off how Dune: Spice Wars looks a lot like many of the RTS titles we have had over the years. We will have locations to claim out there and all forms of units to build and sacrifice out there. Since things will be flowing into an Early Access, I am sure we will get real gameplay soon. Have a look at the basics for now.

Does this look and feel like what you were expecting for a Dune title out there or were you hoping for something different? Does it look like it will be a little dated when it comes to the visuals or can that be placed in the early form status of all of this right now? Do you think this will tie into the upcoming film release or will it stick to the core universe that the game is based on only? Tell us all of those thoughts down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all if you so wish. We will keep sharing what we can for Dune: Spice Wars, so please keep checking back in for all of that and more.
