If you're a fan of Activision's Call of Duty series, you probably know that Infinity Ward is currently making Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, the sequel to 2007's Call of Duty 4. A release date, however, was unconfirmed until now. In a teaser trailer released at both GDC09 and it's official website: www.modernwarfare2.com, a release date was confirmed as November 10th, 2009. Oddly missing from the trailer: any mention of Call of Duty. While it may not give any insight into the game's story, the last game was awesome and I have no doubt that Infinity Ward's next installment in the COD series will be just as amazing as 4.
