The Switch Will Let Us Try To Stay Human Now In Dying Light 2

Dying Light

The Switch will be getting a version of Dying Light 2 now with the original Dying Light also hitting up the console in short order

I think this will color most of us unsurprised, but it looks like Dying Light 2 will be getting a cloud version of the game to enjoy on the Switch when the game hits on February 4th. I mean, you might be surprised given how games usually go for the console, but it does look like Techland wants to make sure everyone has the chance to Stay Human and are making the game playable there now. It could also open up some chances for those that missed out on the Dying Light 2 collector's edition to have another go at picking it up. That is only speculation, though, as this is just the announcement that Switch gamers will be able to take the game on the go with them if they so choose and have the ability to stream it to the system.

This version of Dying Light 2, as one would assume, does not look like it will be the most graphically impressive given how things have to be fed into the system for it. It is a title that will be able to run at 4K and 60fps for the systems that can do it, but the following trailer to announce all of this does make it look a bit more dated than expected. Not the biggest of surprises out there and something to worth noting if you do have other ways to experience Dying Light 2. If you are only on the Switch, though, it will be the best version you will have a chance to play and something to fully take advantage of. Not to mention that you can show off the fact you are playing the game out of the house while others are pining to get home to be able to play it still.

Dying Light 2 — Cloud Version — Announcement

Dying Light 2 is coming to Nintendo Switch using cloud streaming. This version will be available on February 4, 2022. The Dying Light Platinum Edition is also coming to Nintendo Switch on October 19, 2021.

In addition to the above announcement, there was also the announcement that the original Dying Light will be hitting the Switch on October 19th of this year. It looks like it will run natively on the system and offer up some of the HD rumble, touchscreen options, and motion controls that some may have been looking for. It will also be the Dying Light 2 Platinum Edition, so those that want all of the extras for the game will be able to have it all in one spot and take it on the move as well. Rather fitting for a game that does push us to always be moving and on the lookout for things in the wild. Okay, maybe not the second part with the need to force our eyes to the screen but you might get the idea we are going for with it all.

Dying Light — Switch Announcement

Techland showed the world premiere gameplay of the Dying Light Platinum Edition on Nintendo Switch and revealed the release date of October 19, 2021.

The gameplay trailer, recorded on the Nintendo Switch console, showcased some of the brand-new features that have been prepared especially for this platform: HD rumble, touchscreen support, gyro aiming, local and online co-op, and motion controls.

Do you agree that the cloud version does look a bit dated when compared to the other versions and will that be something we just need to ignore for the game? Do you think that the co-op and other online features will function well between everything or will there be a hindrance for this new system down the line? Let us know what is on your mind for all of this and everything else that is up and coming. We will have more to share for Dying Light 2 and when we do, it will be on the site for you. Just be sure to keep an eye out for all of that and everything else that is yet to come.
