Dying Light
New gameplay and details for Dying Light 2 came out of gamescom and we have a look at the current state of Dying Light 2 too
It definitely feels like the wait between each info-dump for Dying Light 2 gets longer and longer, but it feels like the wait was well worth it here out of gamescom this year. We have so many new looks to take in for the game and a nice, long description for all of the combat and parkour in the game from Techland. Like, a whole lot. With four new videos to take in for Dying Light 2 here. Even if a few of them are just quicker looks at the gameplay or how the game could look on your PC when it finally lands this December. I am guessing it will also be that close for the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions of the game too, but this one is direct from NVidia on how their cards will make it all look, so it could just be those gamers getting all of the benefits once more.
Anyway, the latest episode for Dying Light 2's Dying 2 Know was placed out there for the convention specifically. Here we get to see how the team pieced together the 200+ weapons we will get to play with in the game by going out and doing something similar in the real world. We also have some look at how combat and parkour will be mixed together even more than in Dying Light before. All to make us feel more of a hero in the city than we ever did. Even if some of the moves and flows of it all make it feel like it is a little over-the-top. Maybe I just do not jump out of tall buildings to fall a few floors, and then grappling hook through the same building again enough in my life to find it realistic. Although, it does look like a damn fine game with all of that and how the different factions will be adding to it and the other parts of the world out there.
