The Outer Worlds
The Outer Worlds saga will continue with the announcement for The Outer Worlds 2 during this year's virtual E3 events
The headline here kind of says it all, as The Outer Worlds 2 is officially going to be a title in the future after getting added into the mix of the other Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC games we had during the Xbox event for E3 this year. Obsidian Entertainment made another huge splash with this new IP the first time around, so it was more or less expected to see that they would be bringing us all more for it. I know I sunk a whole lot of time into The Outer Worlds before and am interested to see where it all goes from there. Something we are all going to have to wait a bit more for with this announcement given that it is just that and not much more than a title for it all. A title and a showing that it will be keeping all of the fun and humor we grew to love from before.
Before you dive into the fun and cheeky trailer we have here for The Outer Worlds 2, you might want to take stock of something listed above that may have been missed. It looks like we are seeing another great IP forced into an exclusive state of things as this one will not be hitting the PS4, PS5, or Switch. This might leave some of you out if you have opted to stick to a specific platform or just played The Outer Worlds not on the PC or an Xbox. Do not expect it to make the jump over there at all. It makes sense given the state of the industry and all, but unless things change, some of you will have to watch others play just so you can see how the IP flows forward and keeps all of the fun. I will let you have a good laugh at it all now with the trailer.
The Outer Worlds 2 — Announce Trailer
New solar system, new crew, same Outer Worlds. The Outer Worlds 2 is coming…and when that day is closer we will show you more…but until then enjoy this.
Was it a given that we were going to see another in the line for The Outer Worlds or was this a true surprise to you here? Do you think any of what we see here will be in the final version of the game or was it all just a perfect satire of what most other companies do during E3? Could we ever see this one hit the PS4, PS5, or Switch or is that a hope that will be long gone as other titles have done in the past? Give us all that feedback and discuss it all down in the comment section. We will share all that we can for The Outer Worlds 2 on the site, so be sure to keep checking back in for all of that. Also, keep an eye out for all of the rest of the content we will have here out of E3 and in general.
