If you hammered your way through the core of Hitman 3 and have only been going back to replay missions, get ready to kick things off with the updates for the game now. We now have a look at how things are going to be updated and added to the game this month from IO Interactive. Some of it expected given how the last two titles in the Hitman IP have gone. Thankfully, it also looks like we are going to have some other changes mixed in to it all too. Just as we should have hoped but now have confirmation on how it will shift some of the current missions and give us some new gear to wear and use while also adding more humor into the mix.
We are going to get those usual Escalation missions and Elusive Targets we have had in Hitman before. This time, though, it looks like some of the new contracts we have will have us going in as a full ninja in one scenario and the other specifically trying to poison everyone we come across instead of using all of our normal tricks. Interesting indeed. Granted, if you want something a bit sillier, there will be a few Escalation missions that will scratch that itch for you. I mean, there is one where will we have to go through things only using a banana and another taking out boxes instead of the normal Hitman targets. It looks like there could be a whole lot of fun for us to have here in very short order.
Hitman 3 — February Roadmap
Hitman 3’s first content update is here!
We’re adding new and free content to the game every week in February for all Hitman 3 players. Look out for Featured Contracts coming from MinnMax and KindaFunny, two new Escalations that will challenge your approach, and an Elusive Target contract in Sapienza that includes two targets!
As well as all of this new content, we’re planning a patch in a few weeks that will bring fixes and tweaks to the game. We’ll give you a full rundown of what’s included and what’s changing closer to that time. That patch will also make sure you’re prepared for what’s still to come… The Initiation Protocol has started.
Have you played through everything that Hitman 3 had to offer already or are you still taking your time with the game? Are these the kind of missions you have been looking for in the game here or will they be skipped due to some of the silliness? Do you think that we will see anything from the common users out there or will it only be the faux-celebrities out there that get to help with the creation of these bigger missions here? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all as you wish. If there is more for Hitman 3, we will have it here on the site. Please keep coming back to see all of that and more.
