Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection Will Be Paying More Homage To The IP

Ghosts ‘n Goblins

A new developer video for Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection is here to give us some clues as to how it will homage Ghosts ‘n Goblins more

The release for Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection is coming up fast on the Switch with us just over a month from February 25th. It was not too long ago that we heard from Capcom that the game was coming and getting what looks like a complete overhaul to the original titles. In fact, we have a new developer video for the game that dives right into what will and will not be making the full leap from Ghosts ‘n Goblins and Ghouls ‘n Ghosts. Do not worry, though, as we can say that all of the difficult platforming will be back in full force even if this title is only using parts of the core IPs to take us on a fun ride.

You can get a few small looks at it all below, but it does look like we will see some of the levels from the past titles in the Ghosts ‘n Goblins line coming right back. Some will keep the similar platforming areas but with some updates to keep in line with the new look and feel of it all. We will also be seeing a whole lot of the bosses and larger creatures come back in but in different ways to add to the challenge and keep things fresh. It would not be a truly new title if we had the same fights from Ghosts ‘n Goblins back again and not have something new. Even if this one is not being called a remake at all. All I know is February 25th cannot get here fast enough.

Are you as excited for Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection as I am? Would you have rather seen a full remake of the titles being used in the game or is it going to be a better experience to have something new with some strong homages mixed in? Could this lead to a full resurgence to the IP and will we see more in this style or could we get some others mixed in? Feel free to let us know what is on your mind about this down in the comments section. I will share anything else I find for Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection as it comes up.
