A new update for Endzone: A World Apart offers up new ways to use and herd animals out in the Endzone wastelands
The ninth update for Endzone: A World Apart is out there as the Early Access rages on, and this one is looking to offer up some interesting twists to the wildlife out there. Well, more different ways to utilize them that goes a bit beyond just hunting and killing them in the wilds to help feed the people in the settlements. It would seem that we wanted more out of Endzone when virtually surviving and now we have an update that will allow us to herd and cultivate more from these animals. Yes, we are getting livestock and other new things for us to work with to survive the harsh new world.
This update also comes along with some new buildings in Endzone to help house and care for the livestock we will have. It will also bring us the option to bring these animals back alive so we can grab things like milk and eggs from the ones that produce them. All so we can turn around and produce more recipes for our settlers and survivors to try to get back to a normal life in the world of Endzone it seems like an interesting mechanic to mix in, but there is no mention of being able to produce other things like wool and the like from them too. This would be helpful and give us all more of the apocalypse survival feel if you ask me.
Endzone: A World Apart — Livestock Update
Publisher Assemble Entertainment and developer Gentlymad Studios announced the release of the ninth major update to award-winning survival city-builder Endzone: A World Apart. The new update brings with it lots of new animals in the form of livestock, plus a new building to make use of the critters that have found their way into Endzone!
However, raising livestock doesn’t come easy; settlers must use the Hunting Lodge to hunt and capture animals that can be kept within farm pasture, another new in-game addition. Likewise, the newly added Food Counter is used to provide food for settlers, which means less walking distance to acquire necessary nourishment in the form of hearty meals, cakes, and various stews.
Have you been waiting for Endzone to get a feature like this or were you fine with only hunting them down before? Do you think we will see even more recipes going forward or will we have to wait for a whole new mechanic to come in for that? Would you be interested in harvesting all of the other items from the beast too or having the ability to farm from other creatures too? Let us know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all as you wish. If there is more for Endzone: A World Apart, we will have it on the site. Please check back often to see that and everything else we have to offer up.
