Cyberpunk 2077
The next Night City Wire is here for Cyberpunk 2077 that shows off the weapons, music and different starting points we will have in Cyberpunk 2077
Never one to disappoint, we have the next big Cyberpunk 2077 info drop from CD Projekt RED to take in and it is another huge one. There is still a lot of time between now and November 19th and it is still shocking how much we are seeing for the game and how much more will still be hidden. More so when you have a look at how Cyberpunk 2077 will actually be giving us fully filled out life paths to start with that will do more than just define dialog options. In fact, they will give us all a different starting point in the game and challenges to get to where we have seen other parts take place. Nomads will have to figure out how to get inside the city, street kids will have to figure out how to handle the corpo and outside world, while the corpos will have a leg up in the city but fall behind elsewhere. More than just hidden stats is what I am saying.
This deeper dive into Cyberpunk 2077 also shows us a bit more on how the music and SAMURAI is being made for the game. All the inclusion of a few new tracks and look at how it was recorded. All to be out-shined by the deeper dive into part of the weaponry we will get to use in the game. Mainly firearms are talked about here with Power, Tech, and Smart being the highlights for when the shit hits the fan in Cyberpunk 2077. Power being the more classic firearms we know that will be able to ricochet bullets in the game. Tech being more of a rail-gun scenario with more power to shoot through objects. The last, Smart, being just what you would think where the ammo comes out with a guidance system so your bullets almost never miss. Just exactly what we would wan tin this world as we become a new legend.
There are also a few looks at how the melee and cyberware options we will have in Cyberpunk 2077, but outside of the sword and Mantis Claws we have seen many times over, there is no new information. We will have to wait for all of that and then confirmation that we are not getting the same vocals for the songs as we are for the narrative potions in the game. You can figure out where I am going with that and who we have already seen in the Cyberpunk 2077 universe already. I can make sense of it in the universe here but it would have still been nice to have the carryover in general. Just a nitpick I will have and nothing that completely turns me off from the game.
Cyberpunk 2077 — Night City Wire: Episode 2
CD Projekt RED has unveiled three featurettes centered around the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077. The videos focus on the life paths, weaponry, and music of the game, and were all featured on the second episode of Night City Wire.
The Lifepaths featurette takes an in-depth look at the different backstories players will be able to choose for V — the main character of Cyberpunk 2077. Each path provides a distinct introduction to Night City and influences V’s experiences throughout the game.
Tools of Destruction focuses on the varied arsenal in Cyberpunk 2077. Guns, melee, and cyberware weaponry are all demonstrated, highlighting numerous ways players can engage in direct combat during their adventure through the most dangerous city of the dark future.
Finally, Becoming SAMURAI goes behind the scenes to show how Swedish hardcore punk band Refused musically brings the in-game chrome rock legends SAMURAI to life, and features interviews with band members and insight into the creative process behind the portrayal.
How are you feeling about Cyberpunk 2077 after seeing all of this new stuff for the game? Which path will you be going down when you fire up the game the first time and will they diverge enough to warrant multiple plays? What looks to be your weapon of choice so far out what we have to take in right now or will it still be coming down the line? Let us and the world out there know what you are thinking and then feel free to discuss it all. If there is more for Cyberpunk 2077, we will share it all here for you. Be sure to keep checking in for all of that and much more.
