Assassin’s Creed
The next Assassin’s Creed title is officially announced with Assassin’s Creed Valhalla coming to us this Holiday season
After the nice long stream of Ubisoft teasing that we were going to be getting Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, we now have the full announcement and cinematic trailer to look at here. All of which brings the confirmation further that the next assassin will be a Viking and this one during the Dark Ages and fighting in the wars that were wages back then. Just in case you did not catch that from the name of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and the traditional sense that would give us. Maybe you are not fully up on your history and mythology that you needed that update. Either way, it is coming now this Holiday season for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
More or less, it looks like we are getting the same open-world style of gameplay for Assassin’s Creed here with the sailing and other basics we have come to love over the last few years. It also looks like the settlement system could be coming back as it is listed out in the basic description of the game even though the trailer does not show it at all. There also sounds like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will have a mercenary system that could play out like the Mordor games out there, but given how little we know, that is speculation here. Hopefully, we will have a gameplay overview to go along with this soon as all we have is an epic cinematic trailer to look at to get the full feel they are aiming for.
