Dying Light
New DLC for Dying Light is coming this summer as we have a look at how Hellraid will become a thing finally but only in the Dying Light world
It is crazy to think that it has been five years since Dying Light hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC to give us all a new kind of zombie game. More so after how Techland had to go about doing it all. To go one step further, it is also crazy to think about the fact that this Summer we will be getting new DLC for Dying Light to enjoy and keep us further entrenched in the game and all of its insanity. To get even crazier, it looks like this DLC might also be revolving around a lesser-known title that never saw the light of day by the name of Hellraid. Let all the crazy sink in and then we will move right along.
All good now? Good, because as you will see we have an announcement for this DLC coming to the original Dying Light in the way of a new arcade machine that was spotted down in the basement during a power outage. The machine is on and running a little game that we will be able to enjoy. Given that there is not much else on what is going on for Hellraid here, it is only assumed that it will offer up a nice little slice of gameplay for Dying Light that is not specifically a parkour zombie game. It was supposed to be a co-op dungeon crawler where we would be facing off against demons and everything. Something that could easily be slotted into the core game here as a minigame we will play through this mysterious arcade machine. That is all speculation right now, but it makes sense here. We will have to wait just a bit longer to know what exactly this DLC is going to bring to us.
Dying Light — Hellraid
Dying Light’s new DLC Hellraid will be your ticket to Hell and back
No, it’s not a metaphor. You will be literally hacking through demonic hordes of Hell.
It all started with an arcade machine survivors found in the Tower’s basement while investigating an odd power outage. None of them could remember seeing this strange device ever before. They moved it upstairs, unaware of its true nature.
Dying Light – Hellraid is coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One this summer.
Stay tuned for more info!
Did you think we had seen the last of Dying Light until the next big title comes out of release limbo? Is it interesting to see that the team is placing out some DLC based on a different project that never took off or have they been holding on to it for a while now? Will it be an arcade-style game or will we somehow get sucked into it and still use the core mechanics from the main game? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all. If there is more to offer up for Dying Light, we will obviously have it all here for you. Just be sure to keep checking in here for all of that and much more.
