New gameplay for DOOM Eternal is here as all of the early thoughts on this DOOM title start to flow out there in our world
DOOM Eternal is still a few months out for the rest of us out there to get to play on the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, or PC but we all know it is going to be one Hells of a ride when it lands on March 20th. I mean, it has been insanely hyped up by id Software so far and it looks like Bethesda is doubling down on it all by giving select members of the press access to play a bit of the game. About three hours worth of DOOM Eternal so they can go on and give everyone their thoughts on a game that is not yet complete. It is the nature of the beast, but for the rest of us that means we get some sweet new footage to look at if we want to ignore all of the longer winded versions of the breakdown.
Things are not lost on me as you are reading through all of these words to get to the new footage for DOOM Eternal. I am only doing my due diligence to make sure you know what is going on before we get to the meat of it all. That meat being the b-roll footage that is out there with about fifteen minutes worth of gameplay from DOOM Eternal that should be in the background of all of those aforementioned breakdown videos. Here we have it all in French so most of our readers do not need to worry about spoilers unless they know the language. It does contain a whole lot of demon shooting, sawing, shooting, possessing, and more shooting. Just as we would expect for this game here.
DOOM Eternal — Preview Gameplay
DOOM Eternal is ripping and tearing into 2020 with a brand-new action-packed, demon-demolishing trailer. Get a glimpse at brand-new enemies like the Marauder and the Gladiator, see vicious new glory kills, observe the devastating power of the Crucible weapon and witness what the team at id Software has in store for the latest chapter in the DOOM Slayer’s violent saga.
Now that we have all had a chance to take in the new footage for DOOM Eternal, I will have to say that this looks like a blast of a title in the small form we do have. Almost as if they took all of the things we loved from before, gave us more of that, and then expanded on some new stuff mixed in. It is hard to go wrong on a crazy shooter as DOOM is, and it looks like this version of it all will pay off in the end. I could be wrong as I am only getting the footage as you are and have not placed hands on the game, so do not take that as gospel just yet. We will have to wait a few months for that to be the case.
