A new character profile for one of Marvel’s Avengers is here to show off Captain America and just how he may be fitting into Marvel’s Avengers on the whole
During Gamescom, the world had a chance to see Marvel’s Avengers in a way that only so few had a chance to actually see. We had a chance to see the various teammates in action and how Crystal Dynamics has designed them for the game. In an odd twist to it all, one of them dies at the end of the footage and this raises a few questions for Marvel’s Avengers and just how it will all flow in the long run. Not a huge spoiler, but it is Captain America and it would seem an odd choice from Square Enix to allow for that to happen too. Now we have something that could hint that this all may not be the true case.
If you look below, you will see a new character profile for Captain America in Marvel’s Avengers that includes some of the basics about him and some new gameplay. Gameplay that takes place outside of the A-Day footage we have already seen. Footage that shows him fighting in some snowy lands and against some AIM robots. This obviously shows that there will be more of the character in Marvel’s Avengers and not just in the way of flashbacks. That was the first speculation based on all of this since first showing. Now it seems kind of confirmed. You can see that just below in the very short character breakdown we now have.

With Gamescom & the Marvel’s Avengers gameplay reveal behind us, it's time to get to know our heroes! First up - Super-Soldier and Brooklyn-born Steve Rogers. Armed with his Vibranium shield, Captain America fights for freedom, defends the innocent and is known for his strength, speed, and endurance.
Did you truly think that Captain America would be written out of Marvel’s Avengers so early on or did you suspect there would be some way to bring him back in? Could all of this still be in flashbacks just during various different times before A-Day? How many more deviations do you think we will see in the game or will this be the last big one?
